Denny's, Cleveland OH

They have a pretty good breakfast. I haven't been out for breakfast in a while so I decided to go there the other day and it was pretty good.it's been a long time since I've been to Denny's.

If I could have given it negative I would have. I was doing an Uber and went to go pick up an order for there to deliver it. I waited there for 15 minutes talking to an older man beside me who was also waiting on food. Every employee there looked at us and then turned around no one said anyting he told me this happens all the time. I went to the door at the kitchen and asked if they had any food ready for ubereats. Three employees turn looked at me looked at each other and turned your back to us. They refuse to even answer or reply. That Denny's needs the people that work there are the rudest most inconsiderate people I've ever met!

This Dennys is great, the staff works hard even though shorthanded they do their Thang and my food was amazing and the wait wasn't bad at all.

Food was good but service was slow thanks to them being short staffed. I'm not surprised considering you can always hear the manager screaming at chefs and staff in the kitchen which ruins your experience

The waitress was great but my friend and I left because we sat there for 45 min and still our food didn't come. It wasn't busy in there at all so there was no reason for that. I dont recommend it. I'll go check it out in awhile to see if they have gotten better.

This Dennys has a great staff but you might miss that during their rush hour when Uber eats, Grub hub, Door dash, Dennys own mobile app, etc ALL send requests to this 24hr location when it becomes the only place open within a 12 mile radius around 1-3am. The worst is that the apps don’t talk to each other. I watched this location go from no orders to 6 orders, then another 6, which all promised the same 5-10 minute wait time for the angry Uber driver waiting for the food to be ready. I watched a handful of the Uber drivers leave and just cancel the delivery when it got to 20 min, and like clockwork, more orders would come in (probably the same ppl ordering the same thing again because their order got canceled). Before I left the order tickets were about to reach the floor but despite that, the staff still managed to maintain service to the guests they had in the dining area.

This is a message to Denny’s corporate more than anything else. Your model isn’t working. It’s only a matter of time before your staff starts disconnecting the Ethernet cable if you don’t figure out a way to get these apps to cross talk and incentivize online orders to slow down. You could even do this with a surge charge or “auto gratuity” feature (that includes your cooks) during busy times in the restaurant and turn this into an opportunity for you and your staff to make bank. They could look forward to these rushes rather than walking off the job to escape a mountain of impossible deliverables. At least give them an emergency stop button to get their heads above water when the online orders get crazy. Pulling the Ethernet cable shouldn’t be the e-stop.

The restaurant is short staffed so the service is slow but the food is always hot and the wait staff is very pleasant and attentive

Even though they was short staff, the young lady was still about to get back with us in a timely matter. The food was hot and good

We waited on our takeout order over an hour. The order was messed up totally. This restaurant used to be good it has went downhill.very disappointed

I would like to give this a zero rating. We never got seated. Irate customer and hostess started yelling at each other and using fowl language. I was very scared as the argument was so heated I thought a gun would be drawn. I will never go back.

Terrible experience. The hostess/waitress and the floor was filthy. If I wasn’t so hungry with limited options, I would have turned around and walked out. I ordered a salad and chicken tenders to be safe. The tenders were a bit under cooked and I couldn't finish the salad once I noticed a strand of hair on the bowl.

We were told the wait for food would be 30 when we got there.it took an hour and 15 mins for breakfast.horrible.

Food was very good. The employees were friendly, courteous, and professional! Definitely will be back again.

Waited 15 minutes before anybody even greeted me.a simple hello, we'll be with you shortly would be nice. Ended up leaving smh.

Worst experience I ever had in a restaurant.waited for food for over an hour.when it did come the sausage was burnt to a crisp.nobody came to check on our table the entire time we were waiting or eating.then only took 20 cents off of the bill over the 4 sausage links.i strongly recommend going anywhere else to eat.not to mention the entire place was empty yet still couldn't get service.

Kitchen averages one table served every 30-40 minutes. Waited an hour and a half and ended up leaving. After seeing about a dozen people leave, it seemed like the right choice. Strange thing is I went there before the pandemic and it was the same (40 minute wait for pancakes, that were cold) I only blame myself for returning a year and a half later expecting any kind of improvement. Will not happen again.

The Steak, Potato, Cheese plate sucked. Steak overcooked, zero cheese n hard eggs. GO TRY IT!

Waited 55 mins for a order placed the day before. Had 22 employees waiting on the clock to eat breakfast. Shorter man was trying to make it right but this was a failure.

They need all new staff, including cooks…horrible service. And wouldn’t recommend this Dennys location lazy, waiter’s they come check on you to see if you need anything the girls here looked like that they was partying all night like they wanna work at all.
