Denny's, Akron OH

Very rude workers went in this past Sunday stood there waiting for 10 minutes not 1 person acknowledged us we were not t he only ones there was 2 other families that walked too took place between 10 1030am Sunday 10/08

The food is well prepared and the portion size is fulfilling. The waitresses are very attentive and extremely caring. I would recommend this facility for you and your family to eat at. The bathrooms are clean. The sitting areas are clean. Wonderful restaurant to visit.

Good breakfast at a reasonable price, good service. Restaurant and restaurant room could be cleaner.

Went around 11: 30pm.may have been 4 tables being served but told there was a 20 minute wait. If u don't have the staff to fulfill customers then close the doors!

The first thing I noticed was the garbage can outside was dirty and overflowing and the parking lot was dirty and had not been swept. The only thing that was good was the pancakes that came with the lumberjack breakfast. 3 adults and a child 60 dollars with no drinks! And the bathroom was dirty with no upkeep. The only good experience was the hostesses were very nice.

It was alright. Eggs were lukewarm at best, coffee was bitter even after sugar and cream. Everything else is pretty good

We got there around 6 pm. One other couple in building. 4 waitresses.
Took about 10 minutes before our order was taken. Ordered apps, 2 burgers and Mac n cheese brisket.
Apps were ok. Burgers were cold from sitting on the counter for 10 minutes (I could see the food from me seat). My Mac n cheese brisket was awful. Meat was rank. Took 2 bites and couldn't stomach it. I set my plate on the edge of my table, waitress came over, said looks like everything's OK and Took off. I KNOW she saw my full plate sitting there.
After my husband was done eating, we waited for about 10 minutes, and I got up and went to counter for bill. My waitress along with the other 3 were sitting in the other dining area on their phones. After paying my 71.00 bill for horrible food and service, I won't EVER be back.

I had a super grand slam to go. Ordered it online but did a curbside pickup. Food was ready on time and it was delicious.

Place looked dirty upon entering. Soup and sandwich on menu but no soup. They don't sell enough to make it anymore. My roast beef sandwich became grilled onions and cheese after a couple of bites. This store and the chain in general is in decline.

I've never been to Denny's before, but when I did go I can't say it was a super enjoyable experience. Yes, I ate food. Yes, it was good. But was it REALLY good? The answer is no.

First off, they were out of biscuits, meaning the breakfast chicken gravy thing I got had to have wheat bread instead. It wasn't bad, but how on earth does a place focused around breakfast foods run out of biscuits?

My girlfriend's food was warm, but not as if it had just come off the grill. Makes me think it had been sitting for a bit before they brought it out.

The waitress, while nice, seemed a bit unorganized and unprepared. I've never waited so long to have my glass of water refilled before in a sit down restaurant.

To top it all off, after such a mediocre experience they wanted us to tip 18%!? Why is this the new norm? Maybe instead of telling us to tip 18% you could just PAY YOUR OWN EMPLOYEES the estimated amount. Just factor it into the food!

The food was great the service was better then the food and very great value for the money

My experience was crazy the dishes are very old like when the first place first open the silverware was dirty and got an omelette it was half an omelette they just threw the egg on top like it was a whole omelette folded over couldn't believe it next time I go to the one in Cuyahoga Falls but to tell you the truth there's other places to check out walk in the park and Firestone Park in the lamp post in Ellet Mike's place in Kent way better and more food for your money

Food was great.it usually is.this Denny's is the best Denny's I've ever been to.blows the other ones out of the water

The early morning (2am) waitress was fantastic!
Food was served fast and hot! Highly recommend this dinner for early breakfast.

Went for lunch with my mum who was here from out of state. Only had one server but she did a decent job since the place wasn't too busy. Food was good and nice and hot when it came out. I asked for my bacon to be done extra crispy and it was which was great. Hate rubbery bacon. Atmosphere is okay but could use some sprucing up. Sat in a booth and the seat had a large rip in it.

The reason I give the service a 2 is because they use a call in service and the woman absolutely got my order wrong I had to repeat myself about 5 times and she still forgotten a mean from the order. Other then that the food was good Breakfast is my favorite meal at any time of the day. When I got there it was late I was the only one inside the store picking up an order it was quite the staff were friendly.

The waitress was nice and the management was cool. Unfortunately Denny's as a corporation needs to stop hiring off the recently released convicts list

Best Dennys around! Great service no matter what time of day & great food. Nice family atmosphere and open 24 hours:)

Great place to eat 24 hours a day. Is the door desk delivery driver. I receive a lot of orders after midnight from this place. The food is obviously very good.
