Dr. Aridi has taken very good care of me and is always very friendly and consistent. I usually hate going to the dentist but ever since visiting this amazing staff, I am always looking forward to my next visit. If i could give 10 stars I would. The front desk receptionist was very welcoming and always is very easy to schedule with. BEST DENTIST IN TOWN

I took my daughter and our appointment went little later. Both Dr. Poole and hygienist, Kim gave us excellent customer service. They truly care about their patients and I am grateful for a great experience.

Dr. Kaldeon and his staff were unbelievable. They were amazing from beginning to finish! They make you feel like family!

I was charged with my insurance and out of pocket call to figure it out, they say they will call back nothing. If you are younger don’t come here, I needed my wisdom teeth removed, I asked to be put to sleep, instead got stabbed multiple times, and still charged for anesthesia, when they didn’t use it. Still charged for 5 teeth to be removed, when they only pulled 4. My dentist was Mr. Weinsenberger. He was aggressive, left the room multiple times while my mouth was bleeding from multiple teeth being removed, when he still needed to pull more. I was sent home without any gauze in my mouth, Treated very poorly. I do not recommend to anyone. I came back for a cleaning, and asked for a dentist in my district for my insurance, when they said that was okay before I came in, after my cleaning that same dentist Mr. Weinsenberger still came in the room after I asked for that not to happen. Then when I went to pay, they asked me for double.

Absolutely horrible experience with this office and their billing process! I was given false/incorrect information on more than one occasion. My last call I was told I was paid in full. I even had them check the account of each family member to confirm. Great news! Until I received a bill for $400 saying I was 90 days past due! Seriously!? Nice dentist, great hygienist! But I’m done.

I don’t normally write bad reviews but this is not okay. I went to dental west group in December 2022 and was advised that they took my insurance. I had a cleaning/x rays done and was told I needed some fillings. I received a quote for what I would owe after what insurance covers. I scheduled my appointment and paid a couple hundred dollars to get my fillings done. Now fast forward to about a month ago and I received a bill for over $1k and it was borderline going to collections. I call the office and Dental West Group tells me they made a mistake and they do NOT take my insurance and this is what I owe them. They admitted they were short staffed in December and that’s why the mistake was made. No one ever called me to tell me what happened and now I’m being sent to collections because I can’t afford the bill. I never would have went here if I knew they didn’t take my insurance. I asked the office to put in writing what happened so I could appeal this with my insurance and they never got back to me. Now I’m paying for a mistake they made and now my credit is going to be ruined. Please own up to YOUR mistake. I’m sorry you were short staffed but I should not have to pay for this or have my credit ruined. Be cautious coming here or you might end up paying for it later.the dentist told me he would talk to his office manager and get back to me and they can’t even bother to call me back.

Phenomenal practice with a very kind and compassionate staff. Dr. Thomas is a wonder dentist with a great personality. I highly recommend

The receptionist seems very ignorant on all fronts. I’ve been trying to schedule and reschedule now for weeks. The first time I can in I waited for half an hour for her to go back and find out that it was still going to be a “very long wait” so I had to reschedule because I had other stuff to do. Then I reschedule and she calls me not even 24 hours before my next appointment, almost 19 hours to be exact, to say that there was an issue with my insurance. So, she hadn’t even tried to run it for my first appointment. She would’ve had me seen by a doctor before running my insurance if I didn’t reschedule and then they wait last minute to tell me that my insurance is not gonna work. Then half the time she has no idea what I’m trying to say, like she barely speaks English. Was hopeful with these reviews but I couldn’t even make it to a doctor because of the ignorance of the other staff!

Doctor Poole and Lisa is the best I have had for as long as I can remember. When my insurance from my old job expired I looked for Cigna insurance so that I could continue with them.

Dr. Poole and the entire staff are top notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking dental services:)

I've been going to D. G. W.my entire tooth owing life and they R by far the best in Toledo! They treat U like family and they try their best to accommodate any requests that U may have.

Always friendly and professional - a great experience. Andrea and Dr Poole are excellent. Office is also well run. Definitely a solid 5!

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to dental work. The only reason I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Robert Weisenburger was to receive IV sedation for my tooth extraction. I had and appointment scheduled and Dental Group West (DGW) notified me of a cancellation. The office said they would move my appointment to give Dr. Weisenburger more time for my extraction.

When I met with Dr. Weisenburger it was clear he had not been informed of my request for sedation. My wife mentioned to the Dr.that I wanted IV sedation or at least a pill that was mentioned on the DGW website.

I was given neither IV sedation nor a pill and felt rushed through the process. There were a couple of times during my procedure that the dental assistant and Dr. Weisenburger did not seem to work well together. This did not ease my anxiety.

At the end of the procedure Dr. Weisenburger told me "You really do have anxiety issues and should request IV sedation for your dental work". Though I am healing alright, this experience only added to my anxiety.

Dr. Poole is always great and has helped me so much with my TMJ.

My only complaint, and unfortunately it has happened several times, is the front desk staff have made scheduling mistakes. I have drove 35 minutes (one way) to find out my appointment was never entered into the computer, my appointment was only scheduled for half of the time that was needed, my appointment was scheduled for a certain time and later changed without my knowledge, and I was scheduled with the wrong doctor, who half way through my appointment, I was made aware that he does not take my insurance. I have had to reschedule the appointment entirely, schedule an additional appointment to finish what needed to be done, and taken off work to be able to attend my appointments that were changed unknowingly.

I've been going to Dental Group West for many years now and I can say that Kim is THE BEST hygienist I've ever had. Dr. Thomas is great, friendly and caring. I can (and do) say that I LOVE going to the dentist. If my insurance would cover it, I'd go every 3 months instead of every 6 months.

I have been going to Dental Group west for the past 6 years, the Staff is amazing, i am very pleased with the service and is worth the 20 minute drive, you guys Rock! Thank you very much Anthony Plicinski

If I could give 10 stars I would! I had been to my old dentist 3 times in a month because the was in serious pain and they couldn’t diagnose the problem. A friend referred me to Dr. Thomas. He diagnosed and started treatment within 10 minutes! The staff is amazing and Dr. Thomas is a wonderfully personable and knowledgeable man. He actually demonstrated what was going on and explained in great detail what treatment would consist of. I’m so happy I became a part of the family and will be sending everyone I can to this practice!
