Great pizzas, great drinks, great atmosphere! The porky fig is a family favourite, while I'm partial to just about any of their seasonal favourites

So this is my first time ever going to Dewey’s Pizza, I have never even heard of the place before until Pizza week came around (and quite honestly it was the first time I have ever heard of Pizza week) until now that is. Anyway, I decided to give the place a try to see what It was all about.
For those of you who don’t know I’m a huge foodie and I love trying new things and yeah, yeah I know there are plenty of you out there that say the same thing thus you could understand.
My companion and I decided to eat in and I was pleasantly surprised on how nice the place was, clean; neat; modern and stylish and very family and friend oriented. I gotta say I felt very comfortable from the time I walked in there.
We were greeted and seated quickly and as usual it didn’t take long before we were asked if we were ready to order. Now seeing as though this was our first time ever being at Dewey’s we needed some time to look things over to see what would call our attention. After looking at the menu we couldn’t decide so we just went with what they were offering for Pizza week which was the Meatball Pizza and the Caprice Pizza. Usually my companion would base her decisions off of my recommendations but as I stated, it was my first time there also…
The Meatball Pizza came with Red sauce, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, Italian meatballs, oregano and shaved parmesan and the Caprice came with Olive oil, minced garlic, fontina, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, roasted cherry tomatoes. “Both sound very good” we said to one another and yes we had both because well, why not!
Our Pizzas arrived at out table and neither one of us could barely wait to dig in. “¡Buen Provecho! ” we both started with the Caprice, I served us both a slice and “OH MY GOODNESS” was it ever so good. The pizza had this garlicy taste to it and with those cherry tomatoes the flavors just popped in you mouth. My taste buds were going crazy, and she concurred. The pizza was ever so delicious.
I killed my slice so quickly that before I would move on I waited for her so we could experience it together, she finished her slice then I served us a slice of the Meatball Pizza, and it was good… now to be fair had we not had the Caprice first I’m sure we would have had a much different experience with the Meatball Pizza but that Caprice just set the bar so high that we were like “Dang-it that’s good! ”
So both pizzas were good but I have already gone back a week later and only ordered the Caprice (YEAH, IT WAS THAT GOOD). I haven’t had anything else on the menu but even if I never do I was more than satisfied with the Caprice Pizza and I would be good with that.
So if you’re ever in the area and you’re looking for a recommendation for a good pizza joint I would tell you to give Dewey’s a shot, I went in there blind and was FAR FROM BEING DISAPPOINTED!

The pizza is really good so that's really what I'm basing the review on. The establishment is very clean, you can see right into the kitchen from a big window where they throw the pizzas. My kids love to stand on the bench and stare at the cooks spin dough and pull the pizza out of the oven. The beer and wine selection is pretty good and you can taste the quality of the ingredients in the pizza.

On the negative side if you dine in it can get really loud inside and sometimes it's hard to get a servers attention. Also they have a history of getting my order wrong but that's not such a big deal because they take care of you and you end up with some free pizza.

Very delicious speciality pizzas in a family-friendly environment. Jammed packed on a Friday night. Never had a bad meal here. I recommend the Cesar salad and the Dr. Dre or Ryan’s Inferno (Buffalo chicken). You can do half and half of any pizza so it makes sharing or trying new things really easy.

Absolutely amazing, foods great, and staff are super friendly, just a little heads up however,
try to go before people come out of school/work and try to avoid Saturdays,
sometimes they mess stuff up and it's way louder when it's really crowded, plus you would wait a really long time (worth it though!)

A magnificently enjoyable pizza and salad.
We cannot wait to try rest of menu. 4 stars because of parking, (not comfortable with city parking). We did not leave hungry staff was remarkable, owners were very approachable felt like we were long time customers. Thank you the Lewis'

Quite honestly the worst pizza I've ever had the crust was like pita bread the sauce was like ketchup and the cheese was like plastic and it was $20 and horrible service

Pizza was delicious! Everyone that waited on our table was attentive to us. Everything was clean even the bathrooms. Went around 1: 30 in the afternoon on a Saturday.

We had a party of 10.which was largest table in the dining room! Service should have been more on point.once the 4 pizzas arrived it was chow down good times!

I tried calling for a pizza for pizza week and they kept placing me on hold twice and then hung up twice. I tried calling again and a girl giggled and then hung up.not a very professional business.

Pizza is really good. They also have a solid gluten free option for those who need/want it.
The viewing window into the kitchen is a big hit with the kids, they are glued to the glass watching the pizza crusts get made by hand

Every time we've ordered Dewey's, either dine in or take it, has been wonderful. All of Dewey's food is delicious, and I really appreciate their gluten and dairy free options too. Service is always great too. We highly recommend Dewey's!

Hear that it’s a very good pizza place however you need to drop gluten free one. It was awful. We bough 2 pizzas GF and if you continue to serve it with that type of crust, I am afraid your rating will go down. It was like chewing cardboard that settled in my stomach as a brick. Consider maybe cauliflower crust? Sorry for this rating, one star for good toppings and flavor.
