Discount Tire, Lewis Center OH

Very nice customer service and I have had success with them in the past BUT my most recent experience was not good. New tires were put onto my car, which I later found out had a bad tire rod. This caused my front wheel to wobble while driving on the highway and is incredibly dangerous to drive on. On Top of that my car started making a strange rumbling noise and vibrating while coasting on the highway. They did not balance my tires but this could be due to the broken tire rod. Even after having the rod fixed my car still shakes horribly when driving on the highway, something it never did before having my tires changed. The people are nice but I wouldnt trust this place again. You should also note they dont do tire alignments here, something that seems important when having new tires on.

Did my order online and picked them up. It was easy and fast. They were busy that day for those waiting but it looked like a good crew.

I've bought tires here & if I need some more I'll go back. My last time there, I just needed air in my tires at no charge (that's 1 thing I don't do) but the young man was very nice & polite.

On July 29,2022 we had an appt to have new tires put on our camper. While the technician was trying to take the hub cover off, he was hitting it with an impact gun to get it off and broke it. We watched him do this.he says to us, where did you buy this camper you need a new cap… eventually we found a manager, he took our information and said a new one would be mailed, since we where leaving that day to come back home to Wisconsin… since then, we have called, emailed and heard not a thing back about them replacing the cap they broke… we would recommend going anywhere but here. Though it was just a cap, it wasn’t broke til they broke it and should’ve replaced it.

Fantastic service! Had a irreparable puncture in my tire, and the set on my car was fairly new, so I just needed one replaced. Discount Tire was the only place around that stocked the exact tire I had, but to my surprise it was all quite affordable. Dropped off for an appointment scheduled the next day and they informed me they could have it done in an hour and a half, I got my car back in an hour.

I was in the shop 3 times in three weeks - which is not a great thing. But they worked very hard to correct my wheel/tire issue. They replaced a valve stem and sent me on my way the first week. I returned the following week with low pressure again. This time a more vigorous check found a crack in my tire rim. So I had to make an appointment the following week to replace it. Thankfully, there have been no more frequent stops trying to find air pumps in my travels!

Awful service. Steven Clark (manager) had me wait 1: 15 past scheduled appointment time, and then would not plug the nail hole in my tire because I did not want to buy new tires (tread depth was not an issue). Terrible experience, and waste of time. Been a long time loyal customer. Will not be giving any more business to this location or company

First time I’ve been disappointed in this company in over a decade. So, overall, good company. But today they dropped the ball and it affected my wife and our toddler.

My wife and toddler got to this location around 10: 30am on 9/20 and they told her around 2: 00pm services will be done.

3: 00pm rolls around and they still had no clue when she would get in. So she left.

No need to respond to my review and say something like “please get in touch with us” because there’s nothing you can do to fix this. It is what it is. Wasted day on her part with no communication from discount tire.

Wanted to say thankyou to the people who worked on my jeep wrangler. I had purchased a set of mud tires online and went to another shop to have them installed because they were $10.00 cheaper per tire. The tires weren't installed or balanced properly. I took it back to the shop and they fixed it the best they could. A week later i took it to Discount Tire for a second opinion. They have a great staff who knows what they are doing, and the proper equipment to fix the problem that I was having. The jeep rides like it should now. I will be coming to you guys again in the future.

I'v always taking my wife's and our kids cars and my work trucks there every sense they opened in Ohio and was Goodyear customer before discount tire but after today's experience with them not backing there warranty from the manufacturer and the life time warranty that I purchased through them on two tires less then 3yrs Old also purchased through them I will be returning to Goodyear and sending a mass email to all of my clients not to do business with them. Went here this morning for my tire because it was losing air. It was a new tire so I just thought the rim needed cleared but I did have a nail in the tire. They could have charged me for their time but they didn’t. This is how you keep and get customers! Excellent customer service. Thank You!

This place keeps getting worst. I came here for a tire rotation. I was told it should take less than 1 1/2 hour, however I been waiting for two solid hours and still waiting for the car to be service. Next time I am buying tires at Costco or somewhere else.

This location normally has great staff. The service is quick and properly done. The only downside is that since this location is very busy, you need to stand in line for a while unless you get an unusually slow time. This doesn't matter if you are a walk in or have an appointment.

Please bring Jon back. I've been coming here 15 years. I was just in for a tire rotation and they stripped a lug. I have wheel spacers and the new manager told me to buy new wheel spacers and they would reimburse me. When I asked why they just can't buy them he said that they don't like wheel spacers. I never had any issues when Jon was the manager. Also the young kid the checked me out told me my lug nuts were swollen. I took my Toyota to midas and they laughed. Midas said the lug nuts were just fine. I'll be finding a new a tire place

Horrible service. Need more help. What they had was complaining. Phone rang nonstop without answer. Older gentleman hid from customers. Younger guy complained about that. Lots of room for improvement.

1 I usually like going here. But this evening you screwed with my credit card 2nd ordered the wrong size tires for my truck 3rd you broke a sensor on my passenger front tire and sent me out the door with it after I came back in said it's flashing 2 and tire light is on. You are going to get my truck back in your face and you will fix it and make it right. 4 I will never come back now because of this

After a really bad experience with another tire shop we are here to stay. Been our tire shop for years and was lured away by price but that was a mistake. We got the best price and the best service without the hassles. My recommendation is always make up appointment and not do walk-ins because they are regularly busy.

The absolute best place to get tires! Jason is an amazing manager and made my mom and I feel like we were friends of his not just customers! The rest of the staff was super friendly also and I highly recommend them to anyone. Great price too!

I got four brand new tires from here so far they've been doing real good for me the people were real good nice effective and fast they got my car done with an hour yay
