8SCAMMERS! I rented a property in 2014. Properly terminated my lease, moved out of the property without issue or complaint from Dix in 2015, and just got served with a lawsuit 8 years later. They claim there were damages to the property and are suing me 8 years later for damages. Its a scam. They hope you dont keep records of the state of the property when you vacate. If you already are renting from them, KEEP RECORDS OF EVERYTHING. TAKE MANY MANY PHOTOS.
I just wanted to make sure these people were actually legit, because the way they are going about communicating with me is scary. I received a via txt stating I was approved for an amount of money I didn’t even know I applied for? Or did I? So confusing an no one has reached back out to me since I’ve tried calling. Ridiculous. Very iffy company for sure
They don’t want to work with anyone to help them my husband had a job waiting on him but because he hadn’t started that job yet they wouldn’t rent to us when we were moving 4.5 hours away from where we are now to start this new job I would have rated them a zero but couldn’t I just don’t understand people these days I won’t recommend this place to anyone
Have rented from this company for 3 years. I've never seen a maintenance request completed in a timely matter. Currently on week 3 of no A/C in a house advertised and leased as with A/C. I have severe asthma so it's a medical emergency, their response was, "well contact our team abut this matter, but there's nothing we can do". I'll be contacting the local housing authorities and begin process of putting my rent into escrow.
Another summer, another issue. Our A/C has been out and they're dragging their feet to fix it. No answers from anyone, just "we'll contact our team". They told us they were repairing it today, but ended up doing an estimate instead and said it could be 4 to 6 WEEKS before repairs could be made. My fiancee and his son have severe asthma and his son can't even stay in our house because it's so hot. And the lease says we can't put in window A/C units, so we're basically SOL this summer I guess!
WORST COMPANY EVER! ALWAYS A “LACK OF STAFF”! ZERO RELIABILITY & RESPECT. YOU REALLY NEED TO DO BETTER.
I filled out a maintenance ticket for my kitchen sink being back up and the dishwasher was leaking all over the floor until it got up under the flooring and it’s been 2 weeks and still no one has showed up or even called to let me know when they will be here. But they did remind me that rent was due…. I’ll probably have to put my money in escrow until the problem is resolved
