Fast friendly service. Photos loaded online and ready the next day. I do miss the suburban locations. Wish they would have been able to keep one Eastside store open.

Recently got into photography and have had to stop into Dodd a few times in the past few months. I've been helped by a different person every time and it has always been a good experience. Everyone has been helpful and informative. No high pressure upselling on extra stuff, they've been honest when a cheaper option is going to get the job done.

Everytime I go to Dodd Camera I be praying that Isaac Bixel is there. Isaac customer service is impeccable, all round just a respectful and decent person. Isaac also is knowledgeable about the equipment that he is selling me and he has helped me put together my first home studio. Make sure to ask for him when you go.

Isaac was very patient and spent the better part of an hour helping me solve a problem on my cage rig (I hadn't even purchased the cage from Dodd either). Afterwards I did purchase several items. Dodd's earned my business going forward.

My photography business had several projects come up this year that have required gear rentals or last-minute purchases, and this Dodd location has been an amazing resource for our gear needs! Being an hour and a half away, it’s still absolutely worth the drive.

Matthew in rentals provides top-tier customer service. He’s helped us out in a quick and friendly manner every time myself or my partner have to rent gear. Definitely come here before going to an online rental service!

Have gone here for years. Just recently got the urge to leave a review after being overcharged for prints that were not what I asked for. The staff is also short and unfriendly. Go somewhere else if you're working with film, not worth the hassle here.

Edit: went back and they fixed it for free. The staff working was understandable

It's the place to go to if you need anything photography related.

Easy location to find, i90 off Carnegie and you are pretty much there. Having a parking lot is incredibly helpful.

So many accessories, lights, bags, and of course cameras and lenses which they always have the latest and greatest. They offer a used gear and will buy your gear if you are looking to give it away. They have a rental section as well.

They do have a lease to own option if you can't afford to pay upfront on an item.

The staff is incredibly helpful. Usually very kind, chill, and of course knowledgeable.

Like I said in the beginning, it's the place to go to if you want to get your hands on anything that day.

I love Dodd Camera. I am really grateful to Russ who helped me buy my first digital camera back in 2007, and who just helped me
(Jan 2022) buy my first livestreaming and content creator camera today. I have absolutely no idea what I am looking at with cameras, none. Dead none. Russ has been patient with me through this multi-day buying process, thoroughly explaining the pros and cons of the available options so I feel complete confidence I have selected the proper equipment for my end use. Moreover, he took time to understand my specific end use/lighting/set up and guided me to a better lens, plus all the auxiliary equipment I need to get this off the ground. For as clueless as I am about cameras I am even more lost at cables, they give me anxiety. Russ really took out all of the confusion and uncertainty in selecting and setting up my equipment. A+. This store is big and has all kinds of things for photography. The selection is big and the staff is knowledgeable. Talk with Caleb N and he'll show you what you need. I'll be going back for a new Tamron telephoto lens. I met my spending allowance this trip and have to save for the next visit.

So glad I was able to visit during my daytrip to Cleveland! I'm a classic rangefinder shooter, and was greeted by an associate sporting an Olympus SP. I knew I was in a great place. I was looking for a specialty paper, and Portra 400, and easily found both. All while having a great conversation about the virtues of the often overlooked, non Leica rangefinders, and cost savings from bulk loading. I'm happy these places, and film friendly people still exist. See you on my next visit.
