Dollar General, Genoa OH

I usually go to the dollar general in Millbury but was in Genoa today so stopped there. Bought a few things ones being Milo's iced tea. Thought it tasted funny so I checked the date, it expired on March 14th, today is April 23rd. I'll never shop there again.

Not impressed, with " when you walk in door & it's blocked with a delivery guy by the carts n bent over stacking stuff n showing undies ECT"

There is nothing like living in a small town. Today I visited my local dollar store in Genoa Ohio, I lost a $50 bill out of my pocket, not only did my fellow customers help me hunt for my money but the to store workers Carey and Kristen never gave up trying to help me find my money. I drove home thinking it fell out of my pocket in my driveway and when I returned to the store with no luck finding it at home, I was met with a customer found it in the snow and the workers tried to help find out how to get in touch with me through Facebook. All the kindness and diligence did I experience today was truly one of a kind and they should be commended

Very nice ladies in the store. Every time I come to visit northern ohio. I go to the Dollar General Store in Genoa

Ok place to shop but management needs to train associates how to properly give the discounts. Dont argue with the customer over $. 20 can lose customers for that much.

I was in Dollar General this morning around 9: 30AM picking up a few things and I bought a 20oz mountain dew and when I got back to work I realized it was a month expired. I did not have time to run back over there as I working. Not a overly huge deal but if they are selling expired pop what else are they selling that is expired? The pop was completely flat and tasted like straight syrup. Definitely disappointing and a waste of money.

Wasnt impressed by the water situation and I've gotten a few energy drinks with rust inside the can and stopped going there for a while. They used to have this grumpy old man working in there, but they got rid of him. Mostly satisfied as it was probably monster energy that caused the rusted cans.

Worst store I've ever been to. The staff are not friendly some friends and family a mine were there a few days ago to grab some ice then proceeded to fill their water jug with a spicket on the side of the store one of the employees or managers who ever was come out freaking out about the gentleman filling his jug tell me how lame this is that the store wants to press charges on someone filling the water jug with water dumbest shitt I've ever heard to deny somebody some water hopefully the people that are doing that go thirsty and somebody denies them water

I will NEVER set foot in this store again after the water incident! I hope this store closes and something worthwhile goes in!

After hearing about the water incident, I will NEVER shop at your store. You should probably be advised to fire the staff involved and get a new manager. Your store is going downhill FAST! #BOYCOTT

DOLKSR GENERAL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES

On behalf of myself and Rothert Farm Inc. I would like apologize for an incident that occurred yesterday at Dollar General in Genoa.

Yesterday an employee of ours bought a bag of ice. He took the ice to his truck and filled his thermos. He happened to see a water spigot and added water to the ice filling his thermos.

A Dollar General employee came out of the store and informed him that the water was for store use only. The RFI employee quickly apologized telling her that it wouldn’t happen again and left the premises.

Little did anyone know that the DG employee took a photo of the truck our employee was driving and called the Genoa Police. We have been informed that Dollar General wants to proceed in pressing charges for the theft of the water.

We were given to the end of the day to give up the name of the individual involved. After a long discussion with all of our employees we have decided to submit all of our names to be charged collectively for the crime.

We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused the community, the police department, the water owners and anyone else. We will happily replace the quart of water that was taken.
