Don Gino's Pizza reviews
18Pizza is so good! We got our order within 20 mins and it’s delicious every time.drivers are always really nice too!
Pizza was fantastic. We got it to go. It reminded me of pizza how it's supposed to be a little bit of grease. Great toppings the general and the cash just out was really pleasant but the food itself spoke for itself. I recommend it to anybody. If this was in a different area I'd be able to charge $25 a pizza and get away with it. Very inexpensive pizza and extremely great quality.
The pizza and Stromboli were delicious! Great, friendly service. This isn't a dine-in place, take out only but the best Stromboli I've ever had.
Little place on the west side Columbus!
I don’t eat cheese at all! Only on pizza. It didn’t have the aftertaste I get from eating pizza! Delicious to the last bite! We will be ordering as a treat twice a month for my family! Great job Guys!
Interesting pizza. Not bad but very rubbery cheese. Almost too sweet for pizza. Otherwise quick service!
Never been in, but we order a lot from there, fast and amazing food. Stromboli is huge! Pizzas amazing.
Been over 20 years since I was here, it was called Antolinos and the New Rome Police were stilling gunning across the street. Very pleased to say that the name may have changed but the pizza and its quality have not. Delicious pizza and a large for less than $20. Thank you Don Gino.
Pizza here is delicious and so are the subs! This is classic "Columbus Style" square-cut pizza. It's the way I remember it growing up. They don't skimp on toppings and the sauce and crust are perfect!
I know someone that worked there and she said If you only knew what goes on in the back, you would never order from this place cigarette butts all over the floor, and around the food people smoking everywhere and they’re breaking pretty much every restaurant regulation
We have always enjoyed Don Gino’s for pizza - it’s close by and fairly inexpensive. It’s thin and crispy crust, which is my husbands fave, and it’s greasy without being TOO over the top.
Today, I decided to try the Stromboli because their website says it’s “to die for” - that’s some high praise. They weren’t lying - the Stromboli will kill you. Don’t get me wrong, I love cheese, but I had about two bites and just felt like there was a brick of cheese in my stomach. It was so off putting - it’s inside the Stromboli and melted on top - it’s way too much. All you can taste and feel is cheese (and an hint of pepperoni in my case) I couldn’t even tell there was bread honestly. And it might explain the GREASE. I cannot fully even describe it. My car seat was COVERED in the two minute drive from Don Gino’s to my house. The grease was just running out of a corner and bottom of the box. For the love of god add another layer to your boxes! Don’t get me wrong - it wasn’t BAD, exactly, but it was not a very pleasant thing to eat either. And it’s Stromboli, of course you expect it to be cheesy and greasy, but this was just far, far too much.
We haven’t tried their subs, and I’m a little scared to now. If you decide to eat here - Order a pizza and a side salad, stay far, far away from the Stromboli. You’ll thank me later.
The graphic on the front window shows a normal slice of pizza, but their pizza is a round pizza cut into squares. Disappointed in yet another square cut round pizza. It wasn't completely terrible if that's your thing.
Our first time ordering from Don Gino's and I'm so glad we did. We ordered a cheese and pepperoni, both with extra cheese. Absolutely amazing. The sauce isn't super sweet like a lot of the chain places, and extra cheese was really extra cheese. The pepperoni has a slight kick to it, which I love. And the crust was cooked to perfection. We had it delivered and it was hot and came quite quickly. Overall, very pleased and we will definitely be ordering again in the future.
Food is excellent! Pizza, subs, and wings! The only thing wrong is that they only don't open til 3pm! Even on Saturday game days!
I always like Don Ginos I feel like something has changed bit over the years like not putting as much oregano or basil or something in it as they used to. Which I thought kind of set it apart and made it what is is. Still good though.
Pizza was a little dry and had barely any sauce, but the chicken Parm sub was pretty good. Would also like an updated menu with prices.
The pizza here is great. The building.could use some work. Do yourself a favor and just order delivery so you don't have to see where this pizza is being made.
You know when it's tax time and those tax businesses pop up everywhere in strip malls spaces that are usually vacant? And they move in the bare minimum of stuff so they can move back out in May? This place looks like that. Very odd.
Good pizza though.
Just moved to the area and this was the first place I tried. Super fast delivery on a Friday night, food was hot and delicious. We loved it!
Excellent pizza 8.1 out of 10 I love the sauce, has a great deal on Mondays for single topping large
