Rare these days to find online. A conscientious auctioneer willing to reach out and inquire directly to a bidder (that bidder being me) who fell victim to a third-party bidding platform's horribly-designed bidder reputation system. Watching my reputation be destroyed rapidly and systematically in their software's back-end, they reached out to find out what was wrong. Something few sellers would have taken the time to do. They could have easily did the same thing other sellers had been doing and just blocked me w/o inquiry, triggering additional reputation loss for no reason and driving my reputation deeper into the mud, but they didn't! They maintained their faith in me, to our mutual benefit. I was able to actively participate in several lots which ultimately ended up hammering out for many thousands of dollars. I didn't get everything I wanted, but thanks to Don and Sandy, I managed to get some rare comic books you don't often find out in the wild. The support team at the software company wouldn't listen or lift a finger to help me, but Don and Sandy kept my head above water. While I may no longer use that auction platform as a bidder, I'd be willing to throw my money into the ring, wherever the Sweetings are selling!
