Don Tequila, Mentor OH

Came in for dinner with my dad and younger brother because the power was out. Our server was very kind and the service was speedy! I dont eat dairy and when I asked for no cheese on my meal he also checked if I wanted sour cream. Thank you! Also the margarita was great.

Like the food but caught them on a busy night. We would have ordered another round of drinks if the waiter would have asked instead of presenting us with the bill! Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review!

Hot, fresh, and good prices. Waitress kind. Fun birthday happened by my table and the birthday tequila shot was FAT.

Absolutely horrible. Went with a large group, called before we arrived. Our waiter didn't even take half our drink orders. We ordered most of our drinks at the bar. Food took over 35 minutes and half of it was wrong. Will not return and definitely wouldn't recommend.

Awesome menu and service. Even when super busy they take great care of you and make you feel like their only table

We ate on the patio and it was very nice. It felt very safe.
I would try their chili relleno.

My husband and I eat here all the time. We live in Painesville and we think this is the best Mexican food in the area. We have tried other mexican restaurants in the area, but none are as great as Don Tequila. Service is always kind and quick.big parties are usually the only thing slowing things down, but even then, food comes out in a timely manner. Thanks for always giving us a great dining experience.

I’ve been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. This is one of my regular spots. I walk in and I’m treated like family. That has not changed during this pandemic, except now it’s carry out, which is always phenomenal still.

The food was excellent and the margaritas were just as amazing. The service was super fast and friendly. Definitely making the drive to come back.

Food was excellent, did not take long to get our lunch after ordering and most important the place was clean. If going for dinner go early or you may wait to get a table. This is the only place my husband enjoys a meal out. Local favorite of many of our friends. (All 2 of them.lol)

I love this place because its like a mini vacation. Uplifting Mexican music that makes you feel happy no matter what kind of day your having. The food is better than ok. The chips and salsa are free and plentiful. The dinning room is beautifully decorated. The waiters are drop dead handsome! Very polite and attentive without being bothersome. The prices are very affordable. Excellant place for special occaisons or a relaxing date night.

We came in around 2 p.m. And hardly anybody there. Waiter was not really attentive as he could have been considering not busy. He did check on us a couple of times. The food was ok. We each got a lime/strawberry tequila.that tasted too much like a powder mix.like my parents had back in the day for their blender sour mix drinks.

Food is fresh and comes out quick! Great options, portions, and prices. They also accept coupons. We will return.

Great food! I love the chimichangas! I go here all the time and they are usually fast. (They can have their bad days but who doesn't)

Best Mexican Food Ever! My wife and I literally go to this restaurant 2-3 times per week. Get the fajitas and the queso. You will not be disappointed. BOOM

Good bang for your buck. Fresh fast and tasty. The man cashing out was rude and didnt say a word when i cashed out but other than the slight attitude shown, food was good.

The ceviche is awesome! The service was friendly and fast. They don't play the music too loud and the lighting is wonderful. Highly recommend if you enjoy Mexican even a little.

Always pleasant! All the help treats you like family. Food is always, and the prices are reasonable.
