Dorchester Village Apartments, Richmond Heights OH

My floor is ok but some of these hallways and doors need to be cleaned with BLEACH and patch some holes…I’m tired of the speaker box never working and honestly if they switch over to KEY FOBS nobody would be constantly breaking the lobby and side door…. This place is very cheap but want to charge a stupid amount an want it on time but can’t fix nothing in a timely manner smh last year here

All the things said previously about this place are true. No matter how not up to par they were AIY Properties are missed.
The WHOLE FAMILY that runs the leasing office was gonna jump me today for expressing my dissatisfaction of having an unlivable kitchen for three weeks.
I respectfully apologize to the elder lady for calling her out her name, then the big round brother step toward smacking his cheek saying, "Hit me! "

Coming to visit seeing rodents and coming to visit and walking into the apartment and it feels like your outside in the cold during the winter time and infants are inside the apartment wearing clothes like they’re going outside. It’s sad you see kids inside their apartment wearing coats cause it’s NO HEAT! And seeing this I will be contacting All the News Channel so they can come out and see how the people Who are Paying their Rent On Time getting Treated! And when asked to fix things they take their time but when it’s time for rent to be paid they make sure they come for that or you will get a notice on your door with no hesitation. Dorchester Village Apartments U All needs to get it together and do right by your Tenants.

This place is horrible. Ive had bed bugs for 2 weeks now and nothing has been done. Ive talked to multiple neighbors who have called as well. Now ive had to throw away all my furniture. So when i told them i wouldnt pay rent until it was fixed they put a 3 day notice on my door. They are trash and are definitely getting sued for gross neglegance.

This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with do not APPLY here. I applied in July and didn’t hear one thing until September not an update or anything I’ve called and they told me they were “super busy” but the reason for not contacting earlier is not enough information which one is it and the leasing agent Liz avoided my emails and calls for weeks it’s just VERY unprofessional PLEASE DONT LEASE HERE! Also look at pictures and I’ve talked to tenants they don’t care about their tenants

We applied 2 months ago after a virtual tour (we were told they were not holding in person tours). The leasing agent told us we would hear back in 2 days, after 4 days we heard nothing so I gave them a call. A different leasing agent told me he was “super busy” and we’ll hear back in a few days after he processed the applications. We never heard back after that but received an email today saying we got approved and they want us to move in ASAP. We paid $60 for our applications to sit there for 2 months

My boyfriend and I paid for the application right away after talking to them. Waited almost a month an half. They always said they would give a call back, but they would never. Wasted 2 months with them and at the end we got denied. They called 3 months later to ask if we were still interested what? No thank you.

I am very disappointed with management. These apartments have deteriorated over the years. My building have not been clean in months the elevators are deployable. There is problems with dogs not on leach and not cleaning up after them. The smell in the elevator will make u vomit. And let's not forget about the rodents problem.

I have been without heat for 5 days in the winter months I put in 4 work orders with maintenance and all they have done is give me the run around. This place is a dump! Do not move here!

I would not even rate these apartments with one star! TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE! I recommend that no one stays here! The management team here is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, LIARS, with HORRIBLE ATTITUDES! The maintenance staff is the worst! They do not come and fix things in a timely manner. Our unit constantly have leaks and everything is always falling apart kitchen cabinets, shower tiles falling out the wall, bathroom mirrors, ceilings falling in, etc. We reported maintenance requests APRIL 2021 and here we are AUGUST 2021 and nothing still has not been done. Also, my husband was just THREATENED recently and ALMOST ASSAULTED with a BASEBALL BAT by one of the maintenance guys and management have yet to do anything about it. All they tried to do is cover up the fact that the maintenance guy was in the wrong for his actions. When my husband spoke with the PROPERTY MANAGER CINDY NAGY regarding this situation and how he was in fear for his life, she responded with, “If you feel that way, then vacate the unit. ” She also gave him false information when he asked for the corporate management phone number. Instead of providing him with the correct information she gave him the address for their old management company AIY Properties, but when I spoke with her she gave me the name of the new management company Integra, but says she doesn’t have the phone number. SMH! HOW do you have the name, but no phone number? Later on that day she sent out a letter stating how they practically care about the safety of their residents. LIES! CLEARLY ALL THEY DO IS LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS, THEIR SAFETY OR HOW THE ENVIRONMENT/COMMUNITY WHICH THEY LIVE IN LOOKS. DO NOT MOVE HERE! They charge all of this money for your unit to look like this! UNACCEPTABLE!

If I could give this place -0 stars I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE. This place is so horrible! The leasing office people are extremely rude and insensitive. The lady in the front is extremely rude and doesn’t care about the needs of there residents. There are multiple issues with the apartments and nobody take its seriously. This is a terrible place to move to. They are extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. RUN FROM THIS PLACE.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Me and my boyfriend have decided to take the next step in our relationship which is moving into our first apartment. We have had plenty of ups and downs with this place. We want to live here so badly, the reviews sound nice, it’s in our budget our only downfall is that since a pandemic has just occurred the staff will not allow us to view the apartment that we would like to live in which is kinda weird to me. So we applied anyways to see what would happen after we have been looking for a place for months now. They called us back a few days saying we were approved and that we only had to do a half down payment whatever that means. Let me remind you this is our first time doing anything like this so we are a little unsure of what’s everything means and it doesn’t help that the staff only communicates with us from the door. So here we are all hyped about how we were approved and they told us to come make a payment and so we went but the lady wasn’t there who takes the payments I guess so I was told she would call for my card number later in the day. Well I never received a phone call until the next morning
later in the day. Well I never received a phone call until the next morning right before I had to go to work. Well the phone call I received was not at all what I was expecting. Me and my boyfriend were told that they had made a mistake and that since we are under 21 we would need a co signer and that we now had to pay a full deposit. My family had just bought new houses so their credit wasn’t the best and now we were stuck with trying to find someone to co sign. So we finally found someone and we turned in the papers and instead of making us first priority they said we would hear a phone call back in about three days. A few days go by and we never got the phone call so we decided to call and they told us they called our co-signer the previous day and that our co signer was denied. So instead of calling US they decided it was more important to call the co-signer. Two weeks of our time wasted. Thanks Dorchester.

Do not move here. It’s winter time and no heat. Called the office and they told me there is nothing they can do, they suggested me to buy a portable heater for each room in my apartment. It feel like living outside in the cold

This apartment is horrible. Trash all over the parking lot 24/7. Broken windows. Broken doors, anybody could walk into the apartment buildings. The heat barely works. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Leasing office staff is rude. 1,000% would not recommend.

Unprofessional staff and no Maintenance and it’s only clean when their moving somebody in, it smells and my repairs haven’t been fixed since I move into my apartment & you can’t speak to nobody outside of the unprofessional people in the office they gave me the wrong amount to rent to pay when they setup my account then told me it was my fault be I had my paperwork that was given to me a month earlier and I still have to pay full rent with no repairs fixed and wild animals getting into mines and others apartments

We moved in here 6 months ago. The staff and maintenance have been very responsive to us. I’ve had several times where I needed an immediate answer to things, and they were right there with a solution. It’s a quiet and peaceful place. I wouldn’t hesitate moving in here.

My wife and two kids lived here for over a year and enjoyed ourselves. The office staff was always professional and more than willing to help with any need that arose and the maintenance team was exceptional as well.

Friendly staff, maintance is quick. The grounds are well kept. Nice Suburb, neighbors mind there own business. I wish residents wouldn't litter as much on the grounds.

I lived here for a little over two years. The office staff were always friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew kept the grounds clean and responded to repairs or concern in a timely manner. The apartment was clean and had a lot of cub boards for storage. It also felt very safe living there as each entry was only accessible by a code. Overall great affordable place to live.
