My favorite, and one of the best grocery stores/markets in the country. Start your shopping here, you won't be disappointed.

While I do love this store for being beautiful and fun with interesting tempting products, the outrageous prices keep it from being my go-to grocery destination. It is great for special purchases and their bakery is outstanding, but $10 for 5 apples and $9 for a rotisserie chicken, etc.unfortunately does not work for our budget.

Always clean, the employees are nice and helpful. But some of the customer are self centered. And they will run over you.

I absolutely love Dorothy Lane Market.

The quality of the food available is exceptional. The workers are incredibly friendly, helpful and well-trained. DLM is also an incredible partner in the Dayton community. They do so much behind the scenes to support Dayton causes and organizations. Prices are higher than other grocery stores, but you get what you pay for.

Hands down the best grocery store in Dayton. From the deli, bakery, sushi, pizza to the meat counter it's all bout quality and flavor. I can't imagine life without DLM. Thank you for bringing in Benton's Bacon, I had it at Blackberry Farm a few years ago and have been craving it ever since. Thank you for stocking the shelves with such great food, especially during these difficult times. What would we do without DLM? It's worth every penny to have the quality and service.

Got a killer brownie and thing of California rolls and couldn't have been happier. I kept saying how good the rolls were all afternoon. It was absolutely the best $10 I have invested in happiness in a good while. Friendly staff and great food. Thanks!

Yes the prices here CAN be more expensive, but the quality of said items are generally better. DLM is fully aware of how to market to its customers. If you are discerning foodie type that wants a particular quality, ah ha, but for those who want milk, ramen, and a box of cereal.you will find that this store will serve you too. I can only say that this market will grow onto those who wants options that are more readily accessible.

Great grocery store, deli, grill, and wine bar. While the Springboro location of DLM doesn't have the charm of Washington Square let alone of Oakwood's location, it is the newest and biggest location, offering everything I am sure the owners would love to have to space to do at these two other locations.

I would like to say Thank You, for your generous donation of 120 shopping bags. We will place lap throws in these bags before gifting them to our veterans. Our veterans will be participating in Honor Flight Dayton's trip to Washington DC.

Great bread, cheese, pasta, cold slices, KILLER BROWNIES, deserts, and many other stuff! Love this place!

Great grocery store but also a great place to go and do some remote work. Upstairs has plenty of tables and chairs. Good free open wifi.

This grocery store really tries hard to carry local produce, meats, fish and many other ingredients. Always clean and fresh. Their selection of hard to find items is also very good.
Do support this grocery store as we need more wholesome foods.

Dorothy Lane Market is a high end grocery store. This is one of three locations in the Dayton area. They specialize in artisan bakery items, namely their famous " Killer Brownies". Layered goodness of chocolate with the original. Or you can get more decadent and try other amazing creations. The place is so clean despite the winter weather. Great selection of cheeses, deli meats. Today I asked for a wine from a high end little known California estate. It took a moment but they had three selections in stock. (Allora Vineyards). The manager Dennis was helpful and he have gave me a personal greeting. High end store, high end service, high end products. I will rate the other store locations shortly. Go and and check it out!

Great store and amazing customer service. I came in for a cup of coffee and was blown away. Great fresh and prepared food and they even had a choir singing for the customers. I live 20 miles away and will make an excuse to come back asap.

It was my first attempt to make bouillabaisse over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was also my first time to buy fresh shrimps from DLM. When it came to cooking time, I was thrilled to find the shrimps were all deveined and cleaned. DLM’s attention to small details makes a BIG difference. Well done, Seafood Department! DLM is the best!

I can’t say enough good things about this location. Good food, humane choices for those with a heart, and very friendly & accommodating staff.

• Good, fresh selection of items, somewhat of premium prices, good & convenient location, good hours

• This is not out main grocery store, because we know we can get a lot of the regular items cheaper elsewhere, but it's a great store if you want something "special, " such as wider variety of bakery items or fresh meats and such.

• It's in a good, convenient location and has a lot to offer. Just be prepared to spend a little more.

Like the store, food and the potential (ie: the set up is great) but the wifi stinks! It is very "iffy". I wouldn't use it if your are absolutely relying on it to work or get things done. Maybe for leisure internet use - no biggie.

Update: Sept 2017. The "iffy" wifi issue is still the same. Try to have your own connection as a back up!
