We are from Ohio visiting family. Every time we come to the area, we have to come here for breakfast. Eggscellent food and service.

By far the Chop shop is the only place I will go for my haircut and beard trims. I have known Homer for nearly my whole life.so, it's always a pleasure to see one of my oldest friends. He is a Top Knotch barber and nails my cut and trim perfectly every time. He's even managed to trim my beard in a way that it has blended a funny way my beard grows with a curly patch that I could not get rid of and drove me nuts no matter how hard i tried to get rid of it and blended it so both sides look how I wanted it to.
We've been life long friends and when I learned he became a barber, I started to see him right away as my regular barber. After quite a few years, he left the trade for a short time, as to maybe check out another career path.but, soon returned to what I believe is his calling. I was beyond ecstatic when I learned that he and Barry opened the Chop Shop. I sometimes have to wait a couple weeks to schedule an appointment with him.as he's very booked up. But, that's a small price to pay to book an appointment with the only barber I will let work on my hair and beard. And he nails it everytime, without even needing to ask what want done.
The shop as a whole is a great bunch of guys, who will all take great care of their customers. It's always clean, neat and lots of good conversations. If you're in the Cleveland area (or not, as I travel about 30 minutes each direction) and your looking for a great cut, trim or shave. THE DOVER CHOP SHOP is the place to go.

Great spot to take my son. Homer and Barry are awesome. Very welcoming place. Great atmosphere. Fresh cuts, great conversation, very clean. Been a customer for a couple of years and always a great experience for my son.

Hands down best barber shop I’ve been to. I have only been twice and Barry has been amazing. First time not explaining what I was looking for well and he gave me the best haircut Ive had. 2nd visit he already remembered me and how I wanted it cut and replicated that first haircut perfectly.

Not to mention everyone is friendly, fun and just a great barbershop vibe.

Homer is the best barber. Barry is pretty darn good too. 2021 update - now there's 4 barbers. No reason to go anywhere else!

Barry is amazing. I've only been there twice but he treats me live I've been coming there for years. Environment is friendly and clean.

I highly recommend checking out the shop, the guys are the best barbers in CLE. It's a cool atmosphere and the guys cater to all ages. They only accept appointments which can be booked online. You just found a new barber shop!

A family friendly Barber shop that is by appointment. They get your in and out in 30 minutes. I recommend it for a great haircut.

It shouldn't be called the Chop Shop, it should be called the Butcher Shop. I had let my hair grow during the pandemic and when I finally needed it out of my eyes, I found this place (Dover Chop Shop) and decided to give them a try. I described exactly what I wanted in a "rock star" cut. Then some guy, who I'm convinced was his first ever time cutting hair, proceeded to cut me down as short as can be. What a major disappointment! Definitely not what I expected from some "designer" barbershop.

Barry and Homer know how to run a quality business. The customer base is more loyal to this barber shop than most sports teams experience. Due to COVID, there are no more walk ins. So make sure you schedule an appointment on their website! My kids love getting their haircut and we've never experienced a "bad cut" from any of the professionals here. Chip is a true character that will undoubtedly make you laugh. Hasan is a pro with lining up a solid cut. As cliché as it sounds, this shop and its professionals make you feel like family every time.

Dover chop shop is the epitome of what you expect from a barber shop. If you're in the Greater Cleveland area, don't make the mistake of going anywhere else.you will surely be disappointed.
