2Terrible bedside manner! I was there with my mother who recently lost her hearing. We use an app to communicate with her so that she is involved in the conversation. It is as simple as speaking into the phone and letting her read what you said. Dr. Katz would not communicate with her and we had to relay everything he said. She is the patient! He should be willing to communicate with her. Especially since he is an ENT, you would think this is not new to him! Every other Dr she has seen since losing her hearing is more than happy to communicate with her. I would not recommend him to anyone! It would be one thing if I thought he was an exceptional Dr, but I didn't even get that from him.
He was funny and very personable. He was very easy to talk to. So far so good!
