Dr. James A. Armile, DO, Youngstown OH

Dr. Armile treated and cured a condition I had in a few weeks that two other docs couldn't after 3 months. I highly reccomend him. His staff is courteous. 5 star all around

I just had a very positive first visit with Dr. James Armile. I found him to be timely, knowledgeable, and thorough. He answered all of my questions and before leaving I was instructed to call if there's anything else I need. I must say that I was a bit concerned with some of the negative ratings, mostly about him not being "nice. " I found Dr. Armile to be cordial and pleasant. Please realize that the physician treating you is a human being with specialized education and training. Some are more talkative than others, which may be confused with being "nice" (which is not a skill involved in diagnosing, or treating a disease). If you're seeking a competent dermatologist, I recommend Dr. Armile.

Doctor is arrogant, standoffish, impatient, rude and just all around unpleasant. Do NOT go to him. He will not treat you with respect. He will talk down to you. He's extremely egotistical and thinks he knows everything but hasn't helped with ANY of my derm needs.

My daughter had a biopsy and the staff was SO nice. The nurse with blonde hair and tattoos (didn’t catch her name) was so so sweet. My baby didn’t shed a tear, they were so gentle with her.

Strongly advise against going here. They're not very polite, the doctor has no patience for questions and they only call you with biopsy results if they're positive so I panicked for two weeks for no reason. They just want your money and they want you to go away. Terrible way to treat people.

Not sure why some of the bad reviews. Office staff seems nice. Dr Armile came in the exam room in a timely manner. Talked to me and explain a few things about my visit. I was given a follow up appointment. Will return.

Excellent service. Direct and concise. Very pleased with the doctors exam, procedure and follow up. I highly recommend such a professional and efficient physician.

I live in East Palestine, Ohio where the catastrophic train derailment has caused my family and I to be displaced due to the terrible chemical outbreaks that are currently taking place. Due to this very sudden incident, I’m staying a couple of hours away in PA and I do not have any of my documents on me at the moment, such as; ID or insurance card. I called Thursday, Friday and Saturday (I even tried the emergency line) in order to reschedule my appointment. Nobody answered the office line. When the emergency line answered, the lady refused to help direct me. On top of this, I could not leave a voicemail because their office doesn't have that feature set up for some reason. This is one of the few places that takes my insurance, so when they rejected me to reschedule my appointment because I couldn’t show up, it made me pretty upset. If the receptionist was the least bit kind, it may have not been so bad. I’ve already been waiting three months to get into this appointment, one that is very necessary in order to take care of my skin that has been flaring up the worst it has in my life. My skin has taken a toll on my mental health and being refused help due to something that I had no control over is frustrating. Hopefully, I’ll find someplace better to give my business to.

I am a new patient at this office. Dr. Armile was friendly and straight to the point. This was my first time ever at a dermatologist and had to have a mole removed. I didn’t know what to expect but the doctor and assistant were very nice and kept making sure I was ok. The wait time was not long at all.

I've been here twice now and Dr. Armile and his staff have been excellent. Very knowledgeable. I have been to dermatologists years ago, and have to say he far exceeds my other experiences.

They discharged my son who never made an appointment.won't reconsider an the two times we did go for a different concern, he was not friendly to my child. He never fixed the problem.wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
