They don't listen. Referred to them for possible root canal. I informed them I already did x-rays and they could get them from my dentist who referred me there. They did more x-rays anyhow. Conveniently they had to bill for them after I told them they were available. Don't want to listen.

Had my first root canal done by Dr. Michaelson a few weeks ago. I was absolutely terrified but he explained everything he was doing and he asked if I was okay often. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure either! Then he called the same night to make sure I was okay, and his staff called a few days later to check in. Definitely would recommend him!

Dr. Michaelson is amazing! He made my root canal a bearable experience, and I had very minimal pain after! I highly recommend him for any endontic work!

I was referred to Dr. Michaelson by Dr. Burke, for an evaluation of a cracked tooth. Dr. Michaelson suggested pulling the tooth due to root canal may not be successful. He advised me either he or my Dentist could pull the tooth. I call my dentist to make an appointment for the pulling, that office claimed they could not pull it but would recommend another dentist. I call back Dr. Michaelson's Office, and that receptionist responded, "He only does root canals, but they will refer me to another Dentist". All of this because I wanted the tooth pulled over a month ago, but Dr. Burke said she wanted it saved!? WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, AND I STILL NEED THE TOOTH PULLED!

Let me just say, had I known about Dr Michaelson earlier, I would have dealt with so many of my dental issues years ago. I have feared having certain procedures done and I didn't think I could afford a specialist. The cost for what I had done was the same as my general dentist. He was amazing. I was told that it might be tender for a few days or up to a week afterwards. It's less than 24 hours and I have absolutely no pain. I know that is different for every person but I am amazed. I couldn't be happier. He was nice, told me what was going to be happening and what to expect. He kept asking me through the entire procedure if I was okay. He did it quicker than my general dentist would have done it and he even called me that night to make sure I was okay.

Dr. Philip Michaelson, is a wonderful Dr I had my very first Root canal done and I was so nervous and he made me feel very comfortable while he worked on me, if I'll need another one I'll to back to him.
All this staffing was very friendly and kind

After years of going dr michaelson and spending thousands of dollars on root canals that are now failing I called to make an appointment for another root canal problem on tooth he did. I was told because I had a $49.00 balance he would only see me if I paid $165 for a evaluation plus any procedure he did up front. They would not submit to my insurance and let me pay the balance he is arrogant only cares about the money

The work the dentist did was fine. The office staff did not know how to take a blood pressure correctly. We have 2 insurance and they still made us pay. Once my first insurance paid we were owed money. I called the office and was informed that there was a zero balance. I explained that the insurance paid more and was owed a refund. She looked and said oh yes you are correct. Had I not called they would have kept my overpayment. The girl on the phone even said that. Then I was told that they no longer bill the 2nd insurance. I was never told that. I would never have gone to an office that would not bill my insurance. I had conversation about the second insurance because I questioned why I would have to pay up front and was never told they do not bill second insurance. If you opt to seek treatment here, please keep an eye on your account.

So glad that my dentist sent me to this office. Had to have a procedure done and Dr. Michaelson explained it all in detail ahead of time, the procedure went painlessly and he was constantly asking if I was ok during it. The entire staff was just as considerate, caring and friendly with both of my visits. Would recommend this Endodontist office to anyone that would need their care.

Never had a root canal done before, I was really nervous, but meeting with Dr Michealson and his staff, my experience was pain free. Dr explained the procedure and checked on my pain level throughout the process. Dr and his staff were very professional. Dr.also called that evening to check to see how I was recovering. Thank you

Similar to others, I found Dr. M to be rude, arrogant, and dismissive.
My 82 yr old mother has EXTREME anxiety, neurosis, and early on-set dementia. I was physically in the room as her carer as he explained all the WORSE possible side effects without referencing statistics, how rare they are, or presenting with context. Any other healthcare provider, from PTs to nurses aides, have been able to assess her mental frailty in minutes but he made no allowances and did not care or have understanding of what the fall out might be for her, which I tried to explain and was told "he didn't appreciate my help. "
He did check in with her regularly during the procedure.
When it came time to take the Xray, he told me I had to leave (nurse had already done the same) and abruptly and with disdain said, "I don't know your name". He never ASKED or made an effort to be professional and introduce himself.
I would think twice if you or your loved one has any special needs. The staff was kind and did put on her "calming music" that I requested.
