Dr. Reeshad R. Buhariwalla, Bowling Green OH

Dr. B as a lot of people call him is both professional and compassionate. He doesn't pass his patients on to a CNP. He actually is a doctor who cares I'm so glad my husband and I are his patients.

Very attentive to my well being

My mother has dementia. She was at the office for a check up for stomach pain and vomiting blood. Dr. Buhariwala ordered blood work and an ultra sound. He temporarily discontinued her blood thinner and prescribed medication to help her stomach heal. He spoke to her gently and so that she could understand what he was saying. She felt at ease with him and told me that "he was nice". He made sure to tell me what everything was for and what he was doing.

Dr. Buhariwalla is very comprehensive and understanding. He takes time to listen and include his patients in the treatment plan. Great provider! Highly recommend!

Doctors should look at a patient’s file before they walk in the room. They should also listen to the patient and not be patronizing or condescending. The patient may have something to say that should be taken into consideration.

I was in need of new GP because my longtime physician retired. I went in to fill out required paperwork, provide insurance information and made appointment. Of course they were scheduling weeks in advance. On the day of my appointment, I got signed in, vitals taken and questions answered regarding health history and medications. Dr. B came in, looked over the info I had given, said he couldn’t help me, and handed me a paper entitled “behavioral health services. ” He then said there would be no charge and walked out. I was so shocked that I didn’t argue or ask why. I didn’t go there for psychiatric issues. I just need a family physician. I have never been treated so poorly and insulted by a physician in my life. This happened just a few weeks ago and i still get teary eyed just thinking about the experience. It made me feel abandoned and unworthy. My adult daughter and my husband are patients at this practice but they will most likely seek treatment elsewhere now.

My former doctor recently retired so I had to find a new one. Dr. Buhariwalla was recommended by a family member. This was my first visit. He made me feel comfortable with the decision to choose his practice for my medical needs, I feel it was a good decision.

Dr. B is very kind and takes his time with his patients. He listens and offers advice. I would recommend Dr. B
