Dr. Wesley Shankland, Westerville OH

For the most part, very nice staff. But I wish I would’ve done more thinking and research before spending over $1k to get the NTI. I have bruxism, and already had a different type of mouthguard. I was told it was okay, but old technology and the NTI would be better.

After having some severe tooth pain, I stopped using the NTI after one night. I knew there would be a need for readjustments, but I didn’t think that would happen after just one night. It didn’t seem right that my teeth would adjust after one night, but I know everyone is different.

The next night I went back to my old mouthguard, and my gut was telling me to keep using this one. After a few days of thinking, I decided to not return to the office because I didn’t want to pour more money and time into it since my old technology still worked.

So I asked for a refund, even though I was sure the answer would be no. I was persuaded to come back in, but have decided to stay firm and work with my current dentist.

Amazing! Wonderful! Kind! I have never been so comfortable with ever person in the office. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Always a pleasure to go there! Everyone sweet and friendly. Explanations are easy to understand. Good group of people!

I was very thankful to be able to have my crown glued back on right after it fell off rather than having to wait several days.

First off 5 stars isn't enough for the great things Dr. Shankland and his staff have been able to do for me. I was diagnosed with TMJ disorder 8yrs ago and it has caused so many other issues that no other doctor could figure out. I was sent to an oral surgeon and physical therapy at OSU and it only got worse from there. My mom told me about this office so I made an appointment thinking what the heck i might as well go and see what they say and have to offer. I am so thankful for Dr. Shankland and his staff. They have given me my quality of life back and I can now function like a normal person again. In just 6wks my quality of life has improved from sleeping double the amount of hours I used to to only having one migraine.

I had no time for breakfast prior to early appointment, and I was given coffee (and a cookie!) while awaiting the very friendly, engaging and confidence-inspiring doctor.

Wes and all of the staff are absolutely the best, friendliest, most professional group I have ever known. It's a visit with family when we go there, and we get world class treatment. We always look forward to going there.

As usual, tooth pulling went smooth! Dr. Shankland called me that evening to check on the bleeding and pain.none to report.
I am the worst patient but he always makes me feel I can relax and everything will be okay.

+Absolutely outstanding care. Dr. Shankland corrected a jaw problem which I had suffered with for years; so thankful for his exemplary skill and care. His staff is equally outstanding. I always look forward to appointments. Although his location means a 120 mile round trip for me, making the drive is a joy because of the quality of care and cheerful, skilled assistants that I know await. Highly recommended.

Dr. Shankland and his staff were wonderful. They treated me like they had known me forever. He explained to me what the issue is and what he will do to help me.

To start this review off I’d like to say Dr Shankland, and his team members kay, Sherri, jewel, and all others employees displayed more hospitality than I’ve ever received in the medical field. All of them were enthusiastic, kind, and compassionate. There’s not enough words to express my appreciation to this team. I’ve been in pain for months, I’m thankful I have this wonderful staff to get this under control. God bless you all. I will surely return, and send anyone with similar issues here.

Doc, Kay, Jewel and the crew are always the best! Appts are on time and they do their best to be accommodating. I drive an hr and 45 minutes and it's worth it.

The dental hygienist, receptionist, financial person and Dr Shankland were all excellent, so kind and good at explaining what they were doing and future treatments A+ rating from me

Amazing dentist and surgeon. Made me feel extremely comfortable and did a surgery most dental surgeons do not have the knowledge to do. Traveled from another state to see him after hearing he could help. Not enough stars in the world to rate how amazing this doctor is.

I started going to Dr. Shankland's office because I needed to find a dentist in the area for my bi-annual dental cleanings. It was really important to me to find a dental office filled with kind, friendly, and compassionate people. Everyone that I've talked to from Jewel the receptionist to my hygienists to Dr. Shankland himself have made my experience at this office great. I have had three appointments so far and will continue coming back.

Dr. Shankland and staff are wonderful! I have dealt with TMJ for 5+ years and now I praise God that I have found this office to help me!
