Drees Homes at North Ridge Pointe reviews
3 DO NOT BUILD WITH! The whole management team is extremely unprofessional and unethical. We were promised a large discount in writing by the sales person Jill that was taken away at the last minute upon closing. We were never notified by Drees, but only found out through our lender. We signed at least 5 contracts with the discount listed. Our lender even advised what they were doing was unethical on so many levels, especially because they were trying to force us to use their lender or pay more. FYI.their lender is owned by Drees so don't be fooled by this.
We have had so many issues during the building process that I cannot list them all. What I can say is don't believe what you are told in the model home/showroom by Jill, as you will be disappointed when you get to the design center. We were promised many options or "custom" items that were available only to be told no at the design center again and again; Of course after the contract had already been signed. Don't trust what you see in the design center, it will not look like that in your home. When you advise of such, management refuses to do anything. They will create excuse after excuse to why it looks that way. Our "interior decorator, " Amanda, in the design center was far from it. She literally scrolled down a list on the computer asking us if we wanted this or that from their options. There is no skill in that. Any item that we wanted that wasn't in the list, we were told she couldn't do it. This was much different than what we were told prior to getting there. After we were handed off to Alex, the construction superintendent, our multiple concerns that were voiced via email and by phone were disregarded. He even raised his voice towards me and was disrespectful on many occasions. I felt like I couldn't speak to him anymore and had my husband handle things from then on. When marking things that needed to be fixed during the walk through, the tape was just taken down and we were told they only build "model home quality" and not perfect homes. The inspector who was with us even confirmed that he had marked many of the same items and they were not fixed.
They have stolen our excitement of building a new home and moving in. I highly recommend going with a different builder unless you like to pay a lot of money for mediocre work. I hope this helps someone from making the same mistake we did.
Yes, we did speak with leadership and they did not resolve anything. She met us once in the house and we never heard from her again. She was just as unprofessional as the rest of the team.
We built with Drees in 2020. Very mediocre quality for such a premium price, and customer service left a lot to be desired. I would not build with Drees again in the future.
Really disappointed on the lack of customer service post closing. Once they get their $$$ nothing else matters. Phone calls go back unreturned and then do to “age of home” are unwilling to do the right thing. Look for a local builder that actually cares to have your business.
