DS Cakes and Sweet Cafe, Newbury Township OH

I ordered cupcakes for my baby shower back in March. They were cute but the buttercream frosting just wasn’t it. It was like eating straight butter, wasn’t creamy, sweet or anything just colored butter pretty much. The cake itself you can tell was made a couple days before hand because it was a little stale. The red velvet cupcakes were very good on the other hand.

Just moved to Geauga County and found this. Everything is homemade and you can tell. I am now a weekly visitor to this
bakery. Homemade protein bars are delicious.
I ordered my daughter a chocolate birthday cake and to say it was a hit is an understatement.

Picked up a Chocolate cake with Chocolate butter cream frosting for my sons 18th birthday! The staff are all super friendly and the cake was sooooo good! Will definitely stop again!

Ordered cupcakes with butter cream for my daughter baby shower. The butter cream tasted like you where eating straight butter. Very disappointed!

Great little shop. We got some cupcakes and their breakfast sandwiches, all of which were amazing. The staff is very friendly and inside is very well setup.

I stop by whenever I can. Everything I have tried has been amazing. I love that they decorate their cookies with a patriotic themes, not that I don’t enjoy an emoji too! Everything is fresh and super tasty! God bless

Had the turkey Reuben and hey Maple nut bar. Absolutely fantastic. Lunch! Highly recommended!

Great bakery. Everything I have gotten has been excellent and doesn’t taste like they use excess sugar. Most bakeries use too much sugar for my taste but everything here is perfectly balanced. The blueberry muffins and zucchini bread are the best.

Stopped for lunch and treats today. This is always a must stop when I'm in the area. They serve wonderful foods that are all delicious. But the desserts are the greatest! I tried the signature Polish cheesecake and a vanilla brownie. Both were great. The cheesecake is not too sweet with a smooth texture. The brownie alone would be wonderful but even better with the whipped vanilla frosting! I recommend this place even for just a snack. The decor is fun too, like being at home.

You lost a customer today! Horrible customer service. My wife called and tried to preorder Paczkis for fat Tuesday at 11: 00AM. She was told they wouldn't take more preorders and to call back at 2. She called back at 2 and was told no on preorder but a batch would be coming out at 4. I stopped in at 4 and was told that they weren't out and they weren't sure when they would be. They also wouldn't allow me to preorder any. I was trying to support a small local store but will never step foot in this place again!

I'm new to the area, was told to meet my friend here. Absolutely love the energy and the staff! Would even say they amazed me more than the food, even with the food being absolutely incredible!

Save room for dessert, trust me you will definitely find something you won't want to share!

I just ate the best pecan scone ever! I preordered a couple of quiches and an assortment of breakfast desserts and everything was amazing!

I had catered cupcakes and frosted shortbread cookies at a baby shower and they were amazing. I rarely go back for seconds on dessert but would have eaten 4 of everything if it would have been socially acceptable ;) Highly recommend them.

What a darling place this is! Delicious quiche and pastries and very friendly and helpful staff.
