Order two pairs of shoes from the website, package arrived heavily damaged and containing the wrong pairs of shoes. Wrong brand, style and size. When I called the customer service the rep was unhelpful, rude and hung up on me. Never received my refund.

Their goal is to get you off the phone as soon as possible by providing whatever you wanna to hear it. Then it is a dif.story. If you insist and throw a hussy fit, demand speak to a management and call close to the end of the day, you will get everything and more. Just do it!

To the CEO— PLEASE READ 7/23/19 review for location on Telegraph Rd in Southfield, MI at Tel-12 mall. I felt discriminated against by Lisa your employee because of my skin color. I guess you know it when it happens to you and I’ve never experienced it before, but I definitely experienced it in your store today. Pull the tape. It happened around 6: 15 or so on 7/23/19. I’ve got a real problem with it.

******Please note****** I only gave 1 star because that is the only way to leave a review or else they would have gotten -10. I ordered some booties online back in February picked up the shoes therefore completing this order. From February until now there has been 17 transactions of someone trying to post this payment. I have incurred so many overdraft fees due to this. It is now being investigated because at this point this seems to be fraudulent activity. This account that I use is mainly for savings only so when I purchased the shoes I ensured I had the money to cover this 1 transaction but for some reason somwone keeps posting this payment, then they will cancel it and post it again. I have made numerous calls to my bank and DSW and it ended with me calling the corporate office. I would urge you to NEVER shop at DSW or at least don't use your bank card. However; I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. If this is how you treat so called VIP members I don't need it.

Some of the worst customer service ever! They don’t care if they are having issues with their system, that is your problem m. None of them can give you a straight answer. As soon as I get this situated, I swear I will never buy another pair of shoes from this company and will tell anyone with in earshot to do the same!

Terrible customer service! I was at the Troy store with my 11 year old. We were in line and a lady tried to do an exchange. After that she was in the store looking around as we were. She was on her phone talking to someone, when a sales lady with long blonde curly hair was following her and said did you just call me a fat b***h and she said no I’m on the phone I’m not even near you or talking to you. The sales lady told her to leave. In defense of the customer she truly was on the phone and not bothering anyone. The sales lady was harassing her, to tell her to tell the truth. The customer would not back down even said I’m trying to buy shoes are you going to help me. My 11 year old overheard both of them, and actually said to me “mommy I think the sales lady might hit her” I have never ever in my life seen a customer treated like this! They are adults!
Update: I called spoke to a manager, told her I wrote a review and what my daughter witnessed. She did apologize but told me she wishes I would not have contacted corporate it will open a book of worms. Really? ! My 11 year old thought a sales lady was going to hit a customer and I should not call corporate. She said that the customer was asked to leave and wouldn’t leave. Because she was verbally abusive, I was right next to her in line she never ever said one word that was verbally abusive. And if it was so bad as I told her then they should have called the police. She of course didn’t say anything. This store is a completely unprofessional! I will NEVER shop at DSW again!

Placed an order for 3 pairs of boots, 2 pairs were supposed to be 2nd day delivery. Five days after my delivery date and 3 phone calls to Customer Service I received my boots. On my third phone call, I was offered next day air on my next order. I placed a second order for 5 pairs of boots, where 4 pairs were supposed to be next day aired. On the day I was supposed to receive my 4 pairs, I had to call Customer Service. No one could tell me when I was going to receive my boots and the Manager I spoke to talked over me and was extremely rude and unhelpful. Right at this moment, I wish I had shopped at Zappos! I never had to call their Customer Service because my orders always arrived when expected!

Impossible to get in contact with a customer service rep on the phone, via email or live chat. The phone just hangs up and says your call can not be completed as dialed, the call volume is high or that they are experiencing technical difficulties. Emails take weeks for a reply and then they reply is not even helpful. The responses are half answered and full of typos. Good luck with live chat. In store help? Yeah they told me to contact customer service. So much for GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve been a loyal customer for YEARS. I. AM. DONE.

HORRIBLE customer service. Ordered a pair of sandals online and got an email saying I would be notified with my order was shipped. I noticed they had an old address of mine and not the one I filled out in my order. I tried calling immediately and the recording said there was a 4 1/2 hour wait to talk to someone. I waited about an hour and then took the option to have them hold my place in line and call me back. No one called. I called again in the evening and there was a 2 1/2 hour wait. I waited for a while and then hung up. Called at 8: 30 am this morning and it was supposed to be a 27 minute wait. It has been 47 minutes so far, still on hold. I used my other phone to call the corporate office and tried to talk to someone but the only recording I got was my call could not be completed.call back another time.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL! Hopefully you all get the message because I like DSW and the selection. Don't get me wrong here, when I see or talk to a sales person they are Awesome! Your people are great, but your corporate thought is awful. Hire more people, nobody should need to wait in a line for an hour, sit on hold for an hour, or get a call back to make a shoe purchase. I am certain you are losing a ton of business and customers for life. It is not a smart business model to save some payroll and hope customers will wait because the shoes they want are that amazing. Also, while I am at it.fix the web site glitches and less people would need to call the one customer service rep you have working.

Never emailed me the assessment to be taken when I applied for a pt job. I contacted them. (emails ignored) I have a lot of customer service and retail experience. So their loss!
