38This place used to be good. It isnt anymore. The dishes are not prepared the same. The last three times i ordered carryout, i was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Three times i sat and waited an extra 20 to 30 minutes with a group of other customers who also were waiting for orders. What used to be a good place has consistently been a letdown for the past year. Too bad!
Foid was okay. I really don't want to use that word but in this instance, unfortunately, it is appropriate. Food was mediocre at best. Service was slow, there was an odor coming from the restrooms, permeating the dining room. Not one smile did I see from the staff. Too bad, was hoping for a new "best" Indian restaurant.
The environment looks nice and the staffs were so respectful and nice. I had "saag paneer" whivh tasted really good and fresh. However the tikka masala was not as good. It was missing spices. The changed it for us, but still taste plane. The garlic bread and rice were also ok. It's good to try some food there.
They have delicious authentic Indian food. Their Saag Panir is so delicious and highly recommended. The naan is also good
One of my favorite restaurants to go with colleagues for a buffet lunch. Great food and very professional.
I heard great things about this place. Maybe I went on an off day, but the service was extremely slow (I had the buffet) and I did not enjoy the food at all. I won't be going back.
New-ish ownership, which wasn't necessarily a good thing. Still one of the more convenient lunch buffets to Downtown and Northside, but the quality available up the hill in Clifton is better.
Great laid back atmosphere with authentic Indian. The atmosphere has a home cooked feel and the staff is attentive and kind. The focus here is really the food. Everything is delicious and inexpensive. I would absolutely recommend getting the appetizer sampler and a dinner sampler if it is your first time. Bring your own alcohol is a nice touch too. You can easily walk out with a $25 meal for two feeling stuffed.
All dishes are cream or sauce based. Very tasty, excellent service. Pan was excellent as well. Enjoyed the Lamb Mushroom. No corkage fee, B. Y. O. B.
I've been here many times for the lunch buffet, which is a good value if you can eat a lot of food. The flavor of the various dishes are good, better than some in the area - but there's not a ton of variety on the buffet. Generally a couple of chicken dishes, and a couple of vegetarian dishes, along with rice, various breads, salad and desserts.
Great food, reasonable prices and a great buffet. It's also very consistent, which has not been my experience at most Cincinnati area Indian restaurants.
A friend and I went for lunch. It is his first time to this restaurant. We were the first in for the buffet. Food was high quality and delightfully tasty. We both went back more than I care to admit. Staff courteous. Prices on the low side.
The best chicken tikka masala. I like everything here, but my lord that chicken tikka masala is what I go back for.
Ordered our food through GrubHub. After 1.25hrs, we call them. They haven't started making our food. They say they can't cancel the order or refund us, because it's through GrubHub. They offered to stay making our food and have it delivered, but nothing else. They made an egregious mistake and did not offer to do anything to make it right. This is an unacceptable failure of customer service
Definitely the best indian food I've had in Cincinnati! The buffet is a great deal, you definitely get your money's worth when you go during the buffet. The decor is simple and the staff is generally pretty attentive if you need anything. Overall, if you're looking for good indian food at a good price, you've come to the right place.
Amazing food, people and service. They have and amazingly large menu and the lunch buffet has a vast amount of vegetarian options.
This is my favorite spot for Indian food. They have the best naan and an awesome buffet. A parking lot near campus is always bonus too
