DXL Big + Tall, Akron OH

My sales person was very helpful. He was knowledgeable about what I wanted and made sure I was completely satisfied.

Nice selection of cloths, nice store, good customer service.
My only issue with DXL is price. I go to JCP and Kohls mostly, sometimes Amazon. Those prices are hard to beat. So I only go to DXL as last resort. Not that DXL does not have nice stuff. Just and issue with price.

As I came in, I was greeted nicely by Justin. I felt comfortable and he helped me a bunch. I’m getting married and he gave me his expertise. My wife was happy with what was picked out. Thank you Justin.if I could give a 10 star review you would so get one from me bless

Store and rep were fine. You need to change your system to redeem customer credits. The store needs to be able to look them up. The user needing to track and find them sucks.

Was impressed initially with the DXL online ordering. Had to switch out my husband's suit jacket for a different size. It was prompt and correct. Went to return in person the other jacket and Scott at the Akron location was a true professional. He knew his product line and was courteous, patient, and helpful as my husband tried on various items for a family resort wedding. We are in our 70s, so it was a slow process, but Scott made us feel comfortable purchasing some up to date clothing. He gets 5 stars!

I traveled quite a way to get to a brick and mortar store after ordering 3 pairs of dress pants on the DXL website only to find out none of them fit around the waist. I wasn't going to be disappointed again, insisting on actually fitting them right in the store before purchasing anything. They only had ONE pair that fitted somewhat but no others with the same waist size but different color.and this is a store DESIGNED FOR ONLY BIG AND TALL people! Since the store is in a depressed area of Akron, Ohio (most of the stores around them boarded up), my one pair of pants was probably the only sale made for the day. I asked about a discount (comparable to one they might offer for a "on-line" purchase) and was quickly told no such incentive was to be afford for this "in store" purchase. It wasn't a good day overall!

Clean and uncluttered store. The friendly salesman that waited on me knew my exact size just by looking at me as I walked into the store.

It's pretty good but I wear 4 to 5x and love panel shirts and there always out of stock so I really stopped going there for my shirts.

My shopping experience at the Akron Store was very nice.

Two of the store clerks were most attentive to my needs. I was directed to all of the sales racks, since i was on a limited budget.

I was able to get all of the items i was needing for the winter season. Long sleeve undershirts, shirts hooded shirts, shorts, underwear, long pants, 3 pair of shoes, cologne, and a pair of 4XL GLOVES

The gloves must have been mismarked because i could not get them to even start onto my hands.

Otherwise, it was a pleasant surprise to get all of my clothing needs at one location.

I will definitely be back again with another $1,000 to spend.

Had to wait for 15-20 minutes to get a fitting room unlocked. Every time I left the fitting room to get a different size, I had to wait again. Would have left but needed pants for a wedding that weekend. Wastes a lot of your time.
