Eagles Landing Apartments, Kent OH

I gave a 3 stars because their poor sound insulation. You can hear your neighbors talking and the loud music at midnight drives me crazy sometimes.

They turn the water off at least once a month for “plumbing repairs” that seem to be never ending. You should just keep bottled water in your apartment at all times because of how frequently the water is shut off.my car has been hit multiple times.there are 10 visitor spots for the ENTIRE complex and if you don’t park in one, your car will get towed. They advertise they have a “new” pool…. I have never once seen the pool in working order.it is either green and disgusting or empty.

UPDATE: not even one week later the water is off AGAIN! This time we got a 7 MINUTE WARNING. Not sure about what anyone else thinks about that…. But that is absolutely unacceptable.the worst apartment in Kent, yet they keep raising the rent every year without any sort of updates to the complex. Live ANYWHERE ELSE.if I could give this a 0 star review I would every single time.

I think here is not bad. But rent price is little expensive. Because here is need to fix many things. And here is noise like I can listen upper floor alarm
and we cant use laundry machine at home.so I wish get laundry machine membership.

BEWARE WHEN LOOKING HERE!
Our daughter was looking to stay at Eagles Landing, and seemed happy here. She was promised an apartment, they were told that they would have to wait to see which floorplan was available, and to start the background check process. This process included fees for both her and her roommate, as well as parents from both sides, resulting in multiple nonrefundable fees. As we were confident we would qualify, we did the checks and were approved. With only a short time until the expected move-in, they were then told that they did not have an apartment because of unexpected high renewals. They refused to return the fees for the background checks because they were "non-refundable".

So, how many prospective tenants do you think could fall prey to this additional income stream of theirs with nothing to show for it? And is it legal for them to force you to commit to this expense on a promise of a lease and then leave you hanging just before the school year with no apartment and a refusal to refund expenses you might not have paid if you were told that they might not have availability?

Beware of this deceptive and predatory business. They don't operate honestly.

Beware of them. If you move out and your roommate is staying they will not return security deposit to you. This is even if you had a refundable pet deposit they will not give it back till your roommate moves out and they will give your money to your roommate. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE THEY ARE SKETCHY.

Shuts the water off all the time and cars always get hit in the parking lot because spots are so small and they have no cameras other than the office because they only care about themselves. Plus no security so just wait till someone hits your car drives away steals a catilitic converter or break into your car and you as the broke college kid gets to lose all their stuff. Don’t live her unless you’re okay with all those things.
