East Coast Original Frozen Custard reviews
21People just standing around talking before acknowledging you 5 mins later and something in their choc PB shake tastes stale
It's always correct and it's always friendly. I've never been inside to inspect cleanliness.
Some of the people reviewing need to realize it's ice cream, not a home loan.
My milkshakes are extremely good?
Tiny portions of ice cream. My rootbeer float was a whole plastic cup of rootbeer, and ONE scoop of ice cream. I barely even tasted the ice cream. Waste of money
Went back after quite a while.had a taste for butter pecan, which was good.remembered why we stopped going.ordered a single scoop and a double scoop, couldn't tell the difference between them they were both quite small.the service wasn't the best, they seemed like they could care less about our dissatisfaction.
Took my girlfriend for her first time, staff was really friendly and patient while she figured out what she wanted. Both of orders were delicious
The flavor of vanilla custard was bland. The prices were too high for the amount they give you.will not go back.
My family and I went here to purchase custard for dessert last night. For one, not one employee acknowledged us until we were in the store for five minutes. The order was taken quickly and efficiently and delivered to us in a reasonable amount of time. However, each cup was not even wiped off of excess custard. So, the outside was a mess of stickiness. My daughter's death by chocolate was so overstuffed I had to nearly cut off the top and had her eat it out of the container with a plate under it.
It is customer service on oh one to greet people coming into your place of business and to wipe up messes off the customer's order. Unfortunately, on the rare occassion that i come into this East Coast location, I usually am treated the same way, either being ignored or with an attitude, and let's not forget employees messing up the order and/or not wiping the outside of the containers and overstuffing the container with product. Everything tasted good, but we will not be back to this location. Shabby customer service through and through, except for the speed of checkout and the order was correctly put together this time.
Delicious frozen custards. Frozen yogurt, shakes, sundaes, etc are also offered. Cakes can be ordered but are also stocked in the self serve freezers along with other novelties. Vanilla and chocolate custard always available, as well as, a variety of other flavors that change daily. Drive through and in store service is available.
The cone was $4, which would have been fine if it was actually a double scoop, as it was supposed to be. The top scoop was maybe an inch tall, and the bottom one was also small. The bottom half of the actual cone was completely empty. What a rip off!
Unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to try this place on my 1 night in the city. We pulled in line at roughly 9: 30 & when we were the 3rd car in line it was 9: 58 & the car pulled away fairly fast, as the next car pulled up we realized they were turning them away & they followed with us as it hit 10: 00, their closing time. I fully understand closing times, but also feel it’s poor customer service to not finish out the 3 cars remaining whom spent 30 minutes in your line & then missed out on other options that also closed at 10. Will not be returning.
We were in the area and stopped in for a quick treat and boy were we surprised! We found a new favorite spot! Our treats were delicious, the service was amazing AND they had dairy free ice cream if you are like me and struggle with dairy! I would highly recommend you stopping in!
Drive through is always pretty slow moving, and once it gets backed up it makes it hard for other patrons who are in the restaurant to leave their parking spots.
Despite that inconvenience the Custard and frozen yogurt are worth the wait. The flavors are always changing so you can try new things. I always get the root beer float. So good!
I live in Idaho and the custard they got there doesnt compare to the custard they have here. Im not leaving.
They updated there order wall and cash registers. Same great flavors so come check them out.
Didn't have my first two choices so, I ordered the fat free vanilla. It was OK. Didn't think their product was as good as Culver's.
Great tasting custard ice cream! The milkshake, Sundae and the Concrete which is like a Blizzard are awesome. Usually very busy in the evening for good reason. Now the prices are slightly higher than Dairy Queen but the products are Superior.
Bad place for a diet but a good place to treat yourself they have a variety of flavors and I've never had a bad one yet
The fact that I straight up order vanilla custard here because it is the most supremely amazing confection says something. If you can make a vanilla that makes me want to order it over everything else (except maybe the pumpkin) then you're a master of the craft. Nothing beats the smooth texture of this frozen custard and I would have to fight eating here every day if I lived closer.
God if youv not been to east coast custard I'd recomend you do! Everything iv had there tastes at least 10 times better then any other icecream shop iv ever been too! Even there vanilla somehow tastes excellent
