East Harbor State Park, Lakeside Marblehead OH

Nice trail by the harbor, easy access to Lake Erie, and close to Marblehead Lighthouse. Our pull through lot was pretty spacious, the bathrooms and nearby shower house was clean (the shower actually gets hot!), and the park is very well kept. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Very clean for it being off season. Hot showers running toilets. The park helpers very helpful and accommodating the space we reserved was flooded and were able to take another spot. Will be coming back would definitely recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed camping here and it was beautiful but it would be nice if there were more lights throughout the park and and if the shower house was heated. I froze when I got out of the shower.

Camping, kayak launch, play ground, trails, campstore. Open to public no entry fees. Beach and swimming also a dog beach on south beach.

After looking at the campground map, we thought it would have campsites facing the lake but we were wrong. The place is fenced with trees and you would not even feel you are near water till you go to the recreational area/beach. Went there in October 2021, had a lot of mosquitoes and moths.

Stated to East Harbor campground. Clean accommodating, great camp store, Had a fantastic Halloween set up for trick or treating hay rides and all the campsites people decorated for Halloween

We had the whole northern end of the beach to ourselves on a recent Tuesday! The water was low so there were several sandy spots exposed very close to the shore where we all went out to play and run and build and laugh it up. Lovely. Loved it thoroughly.

This state park is one of the best in Ohio. It's wheelchair accessible including fishing piers. Very quiet even during the peak season. Very clean and a nice camp store

Was there Friday until Sunday morning Halloween weekend. The hosts were helpful and amazing. It rained practically all week which made the site I reserved flooded. Was directed to find a better site which I did. All the amenities were great and very clean. I would recommend this place to camp. Wait maybe not. Because then I won't be able to get a site again.

We stayed in section C. Our camp site had a huge tree with these thorns infesting it. They were all over the grpund where my kids are supposed to play. One went through my husbands shoe and cut his foot. The sites where very hard to get parked in. They were packed very close together. The water broke so we had no water in the camp bathrooms. There was loud music pumping through the camp ground till at least midnight, when i finally fell asleep. My husband said it may havs been coming from a boat or a trailor park nearby. Gets 2 stars instead of one because we saw other sections were better. Also, my husband said the beach was nice.

Nice clean park, during off season it's not very crowded. Happy to see camper areas with trees. So often they are cut down I. The camping area.

Nice bathroom and even an outdoor shower. There are posted signs saying 'no dogs', but many people disobeyed- and nobody was around to stop them. We had a preschool grandson with us and I was uneasy seeing numerous big dogs so very near what's left of the beach. The water is very high so the beach is very small. The upside is that you can walk a long ways out and still be in shallow water. Btw- signs also say no floaties.

The front office was confused. A woman who cleaned our sight while we were still there complaned to us she would have to send over a truck to remove some extra wood we had becouse they had to cut the grass. It needed to be cut before we got there. Bathroom at shelter house was horrid. Bsthroom in men area has broken lock. Other than that it was ok

Okay for people not handicapped. Cabins not fully equipped for handicapped people. No running water or bathroom in cabin. Say they have Wi-Fi but doesn't

Been here 50 times this summer, perfect for younger kids learning how to swim.water doesn't get deep due to the sandbars. Literally my favorite place in the world

Really nice, quiet campground. Drove our RV, the road to the beach was really, really tight because of the walking path, but they had good RV parking at the end.

Fun day with family at this beautiful park! We enjoyed a 3 mile hike along the coast as well as enjoying the beach! Looks like a nice place for all ages, bike rides, picnic's, play grounds, trails and much more! We definitely enjoyed our afternoon here! Please remember to clean up after your pets and your litter!

Beautiful as always. As close to an ocean view as you can get in ohio. Always clean and well maintained. A great place to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Lake is marvelous campground is clean but not on my top 10 list. Tight camp sites, no privacy and too much sun. Again it's all about the water and nature so worth the trip.
