East Liverpool City Hospital

My daughter fell and cracked her front teeth. It was on the weekend so I took her to the ER to get an xray. She was in some pain but not terribly. We wanted to see the extent of the damage and make sure there was no infection. There were two people ahead of us. The triage nurse came out and took one of them. Then the other. We waited an hour and a half. And then we left. We never did see the triage nurse again. We told the registration lady we were leaving. She didn't offer to find the triage nurse. Or even offer an apology for the long wait. I understand we may have to wait in some circumstances. I don't understand the lack of assistance.

During my hospital stay I couldn’t have been treated better. I feel I received the best care possible. I would recommend them thanks for all ur efforts Janet Angle

Three times in 8 months my family has unfortunately had to visit this hospital and tonight was number four. Walked in to a empty emergency room and being so sick I was thankful! I was tested for covid and the flu I waited four hours for the result being kindly asking if they came back or if I was still waiting on x ray just to be told the tests haven't come back and no reply about thr x ray. I watched the flu test turn color and react right in front of my eyes the moment the test was administered. I waited another hour and left. So I waited 5 hours. If the hospital was busy I would be understanding but after I heard a nurse telling another about how long I had been waiting just to be told yelp.not my fault. I finally left

The Surgery department did a great job. Dr Shaer explained everything to me as well as the staff being there for me also. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr Shaer also did a great job I would recommend this surgery department to others

I cannot say enough for East Liverpool Hospital and the care and love they gave our family.
Dr. Gretchen Nickell, Dr Sengh, Madison, the entire staff were absolutely amazing to our family as my father entered hospice and throughout his journey.
It is an amazing teaching hospital that deserves support and honor from the community and the hospital network.
I cannot say enough.

We are so very lucky to have this hospital. I received excellent care from the nurses, aids, cafeteria folks and even maintenance. You are appreciated.

The workers at East Liverpool city Hospital are wonderful. They treated me with kindness, patience and the best possible care.

I went to have my echocardiogram on Wednesday 3/23/22and Sue in cardiology was excellent! She was very sweet and caring! Explained things to me and was very gentle! I’ll definitely recommend everyone to have their echocardiogram here at East Liverpool City Hospital! Sue rocks! Also she’s very knowledgeable another echocardiogram as well! Thank you!

I had my rt shoulder operated on Dec 29th and I have to tell you our surgery department rocks! They were so attentive to my needs and getting me comfortable! I think her name is Tina that did the block for my shoulder, she was excellent. She explained everything step by step! She put me at ease. I would recommend our surgery department every single time. I have to have back surgery and I wished we had a doctor here that could do this surgery instead of having to go to Boardman to get it done.

Needs torn down your kids will be in better hands at home they care about noone besides being on their phones and talking laughing in the hallways eating while we are waiting they really need someone to come in there and get tht place together. People are not priority here

Was taken there for syncope, weakness, pain, dehydration. Nurses were very rude provided no comfort, I was not given fluids, repeated to them about my pain and they ignored me gave me a low dose shot upon discharge and then to top it off I came in with dizziness and weakness they made me walk myself out for discharge my family and doctor who sent me are totally disgusted. Plus my mother was looking for me when she arrived they got me supposedly mixed up with someone else and told her I left how unprofessional and unorganized.

Went in er with broken ankle. They were slow but didn’t take me back for a while. I broke down and cried before I could get pain meds. A few hours later they told me that they don’t have anyone that can set my broken ankle and I needed to go to another hospital. They billed me about the same amount of money as the second hospital did that actually set my broken ankle. Had surgery a couple days later to get plates and screws to mend both of my leg bones that were broken at the ankle joint. I suspect that the staff actually wanted to test my pain tolerance before they gave me pain meds. Like they wanted to see me break down in pain. They got enjoyment from it. That’s my suspicion.

I was there for a broken femur and the nurses and aides on the fourth floor was great with me. But Dr. Panye was very rude and needs to learn how to understand respect for the patient care. I found out that I had blood clots on my lungs and he told me that I was medical clear to leave knowing that I have factory five disorder.

Dr. Kinnear was the most unprofessional Dr. I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. The nursing staff however were the best and most caring individuals I’ve ever have come across!

I took my son to ER because my son had a tick stuck in the back if his neck and I was worried it was getting infected. After waiting for almost 2 hours while they were taking in people that needed drug tests and kids that didn't appear sick at all running around the emergency room way after we got there so I asked the triage nurse if my son was gonna get seen soon because I thought it was kind of an emergency and he was quick to inform me that it was not and that I had to wait and see if a bulletin appeared? Meanwhile this was broad cast over the ER loud speaker. I said that I would prefer not to wait, and that I would need to go to an urgent care and left but came back in to request discharge paperwork and he told me he cant give them to me and that I needed to leave. Ive gone to their ER for years and never have been treated this way.

I was in the E. R. 3 times and spent a night in the hospital in a period of a week. Even though they were short staffed and busy everyone from doctors, nursing, secretaries, lab, X-ray, cardiac and housekeeping all treated me very well.
