East of Chicago, Galion OH

Very disheartening service tonight! We called in to order a taco pizza at 5: 43 and were told 25 min. We arrive to pick it up and leave a tip and we are asked to pull forward, and as of 6: 29 we are still pulled up in line with no pizza, I sent my husband in to see if they forgot to even make our pizza, This is certainly not the best service that we have had here. We did end up ultimately getting the pizza as it was brought out at 6: 31. Just be honest and tell customers if there’s a delay. We will happily understand, if you let us know.

I ordered FIVE 12” American subs, picked them up RIGHT on time, they were literally luke warm. We said something to the guy at the window and he didn’t know how to address it. So, we called the manager in the parking lot, and she said she needs to go over the times etc, fair enough. Then, the manager Kim says “it’s not in our end” sorry I called the owner and nothing we can do. I typically do not complain at all. But when I spent almost 60$ on lukewarm food, I am saying something. I will never go there again!

I mistakenly ordered the incorrect pizza, and the owner was nice enough to contact me after I replied to a review and go over my order with me. I appreciate that and the food is always wonderful!

Galion Ohio's East of Chicago is by far THE BEST! Everytime we order the food is picture perfect and taste incredible! The workers and delivery drivers are super friendly and helpful. Galion goes above and beyond every single time! I have been getting food from here for over 16 years and I have never been disappointed! Thank you for a great all around experience, we appreciate you!

This place simply doesn't use quality ingredients. Taco salad (which they shouldn't even be selling) was lackluster at best, meatball sub was below even the worst sub shop and the wings were tasteless, like watered down sauce. Good in a pinch but I'll never make it my spot. The guy behind the counter was super friendly. I will however give them my money one more time because I didn't try the pizza. Update to come. *update 8/21* Tried the pizza, got the pan. Super thick, hardly any sauce, very bland, very no frills. The whole place is a pass for me.

The delivery drivers are the friendliest people out of any pizza shop in Galion! Love the loaded fries and the taco pizza the best

We only have ever gotten take out so can't speak to atmosphere. But the subs are Great. I could go for one right now. Only thing I miss is coupons are hit or miss. And have not been able to find any coupon codes when ordering. But definitely if you want a good Italian Sub this is a great choice.

The pizza was good, and fast but somebody tell East of Chicago their Chicago style pizza is not Chicago style! Lol it’s more Chicago style-ish. Still good though.

East of Chicago never disappoints. I just got the Tower Pizza on Cauliflower Crust. Absolutely Amazing. You can get any of your favorite pizzas on a low carb Cauliflower crust. Absolutely delicious. And their wings are always epic. Online ordering is simple and delivery is fast. Great service, great food, great prices. Thanks East of Chicago!

I try to stop by after Doctor appts to grab food from my favorite pizza company! I wish Tiffin would get one again! Even with an hour drive home (hunger pain-inducing and delightful smelling that yummy food all the way home), the food is still fantastic. I love it cold for breakfast the next day. Fair warning the salad was small for the price (like everywhere these days), but he loaded it up as much as the small container could hold. If you've had EOC before then this matches the quality, texture, and flavors you expect. For a certainty, I'll be ordering whenever I'm in the area. Online ordering was a breeze and pickup was ready right on time!

We ordered two lg pizzas, sauce and a two liter Friday night for pick-up. I asked for the pick-up special and was told they no longer offer that and that my order would be ready in 20-25 mins. I arrive roughly 25 mins after I ordered, I paid and was asked to pull into a parking spot to wait for my pizzas to be brought out to me. We witnessed a large number of vehicles pay and leave with their orders after us along with the delivery drivers coming and going. 45 minutes after we ordered my husband goes inside to see if they forgot us and was told our order was still not ready. A full hour after we ordered I decided to go back in but on my way into the establishment I stopped a patron who just picked up their pizza and asked them how long it took for their order to be ready and they told me 20 mins. I proceeded into the store and asked if my order was ready, I told them my name and the young man at the front acted like he couldn’t find my order in the computer. I showed the receipt to him and he walked back to the oven and retrieved my two large pizzas off the top of the over. He check them for temperature and then proceeded to tell the workers that this order had been done a long time. Another worker piped up that she had just put them up there and I asked if the pizza was indeed still hot and was told yes. I took my order and drove the 15 mins home to find that my pizza was cold and had to reheat it. I called the Shelby location because they are owned by the same people to see if they still offered the pick-up special and was told they do. I told her I was having an issue with the Galion location telling me they didn’t offer it and she then asked an employee there that normally worked at the Galion store and she confirmed they in fact still offered that special in Galion. I reached out to both Jared and Jessica Thew, the owners, via Facebook asking them to contact me about my terrible experience to which they both blocked me with out responding. I have supported this small business for almost 8 years but I promise I will never again spend my money here and I hope you think hard before you do as well.

Always promt delivery with great customer service and gets our pizza right every time. I love the BBQ Chicken pizza the most.

Deep dish not done in center and very salty! Told the woman at the counter. She did not offer to do anything about it.

Every time I go here, I am treated kindly. I don't have a bad experience. I enjoy their subs and pizza. Yum!
