Eckerlin's Meats, Cincinnati OH

I had a goetta, egg, and cheese sandwich from the shop. It was great. It is worth a special stop to buy one. By the way, it smells great in the shop. I also brought some goetta home that we fried up for the family.

I drive from Louisville ky to Cincinnati just to buy their sausage. You can't get bratwurst or metts like this in Louisville. Not to mention the goetta. It is as good as my Grandma made.

Stopped for the goetta sandwich, passing through town. Glad we stopped. Ate our sandwich and ordered some to take with us.

Findlay Market is a staple of the downtown, OTR Cincinnati area, as is Eckerlin Meats. What a clean butcher shop and a group of very friendly and knowledgeable guys that work there. I bought 5 slices of their peppered goetta. Wow, these guys nailed it! The taste, texture and quality it incomparable. Thanks Eckerlin

Best Goetta Sandwich in town. It would only be second to my Mother's, and hers were fantastic. Well done Eckerlin's, well done. I always knew that your butcher shop was top notch, and now I know that your sandwiches are as well.

While initially Eckerlins dropped the ball losing our order for the holidays twice, they picked it right back up and made a game winning pass with excellent customer service, rectifying the issue and even throwing in some delicious breakfast sandwiches for good measure! Thanks guys!

The goetta is the best in the city hands down and the workers are a hoot! They are extremely personable and helpful. I've never had a bad experience. The place has been around since 1852 so they have to be doing something right. Being a woman in my mid-60s, it's nice still being able to go to the local butcher shop even though they are not as popular as they once were.

Really good Kielbasa! They make breakfast sandwiches and other delicious items.

The homemade breakfast sausage is amazing. Try the super hot polish metts on the grill!

Hands down the best breakfast sandwiches in Cincinnati. Change yo life good. Soft, fluffy bun -hot and savory mmmmmm. I think I'll go get one now.

Eckerlin’s has a remarkable selection of high quality meats. The service is fantastic and very quick; they take the time to label everything and ensure your meats are wrapped and packaged to your liking.

Saw in foodandwine magazine. Go for the breakfast sandwich. Ask for fried goetta on a soft roll with egg and cheese.

If you love goetta like every good non-vegetarian Cincinnatian, you have to go to Eckerlin! Their goetta is amazing - and like half the fat and calories of store brand! It tastes so much better and has a thicker consistency.

We had not been to the Market in years. It was a lot of fun and there is so much to see on a Tuesday afternoon. Can't imagine what must be there on the weekend. The peaches were awesome. Bought some "cowboy caviar" and it was yummy too. Will go again soon.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Great prices on meat packs especially since the quality of meat you cannot beat. I only waited 20 minutes for two meat packs! Seriously will never go anywhere else.
