Very comfortable bed, great shower & the staff is very nice and helpful! The hotel changed owners about a year ago and great changes have been made!

The people who run the place have been really cool they don't have an attitude when you go up to the desk asking for amenities or if you accidentally wipe your room key because of your cell phone, overall my experience hasn't been bad. If you're low on money and need a cheap place to stay then the econo Lodge is your place.

Fairly clean, but for the price I got what I paid for. Some people do live at the motel so there is noise outside most of the time.

The front guys there when I checked in were amazing. The one even remembered me from idek how long ago. Anyways when I checked in not being use to certain places policies I did not have the security deposit but I had the payment for the room, so he still got me and my family in at a pro rated rate but in the same backside room ️ he worked wonders with me. After that we arrived to our room, got situated, and relaxed. The tv we could not get to receive signal so they sent I’m assuming their IT guy (that’s what ima call him) to the room and he did whatever he did and within 10 minutes the tv was working again! AMAZING.the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable - (reading other reviews) I personally did not see notice or have any encounters with bed bugs. Can’t say under the dresser and under certain furniture has been touched by a cleaning tool, but for the convenience, the price, the community that surrounds it, and the main stay of out towners- if that is the worse I gotta deal with I’d take it. Don’t think I’ll be back for awhile, but it was a wonderful night away from home.

Disappointment ahoy.
Mattresses are bricks, pillows are paper thin. Room smelled like alcohol wipes on cigarettes. Breakfast isn’t a thing. The pool also remains permanently closed. The coffee seems to be a “one cup per person basis” (the staff told me I could not fill up my 20oz reusable mug) and all in all I wouldn’t come back for free. EDIT: As I posted this the hotel staff gave a quick knock and then swung our door open before saying anything… 20 minutes before checkout… good thing we weren’t getting dressed. Completely unprofessional. EDIT AGAIN!? Talk about unprofessional! The STAFF were smoking inside the building.it’s just comical at this point

Dont understand how much this place has went down hill in the last ten years. I locked myself out of my room the day if cĥeckout. It was only 9am. But the two men at the desk refused to let me back inti the room i paid for. Nor did they aknowkege that i was a paying customer. This was my third or so bad experience with this out dated hotel since 2017. I recommend staying clear of here if at all possible. Its unfortunate back in the day y2k this was a wonderful place to take a holiday.

Location was awesome but the guy at the front wasn't helpful at all he doesn't understand that black mold makes people sick as he'll and Nast dusty cobwebs and dust everywhere plus sink was busted and looked like it had been culked back together the bar is a freaking joke loud until late night definitely not family approved and the pool was okay except they never had towels and only stuck 2 in there after my husband made comment about it then the same exact towel he placed on the floor in the pool area the night before was still there and the so called housekeeper was male and didn't even understand a single word of English was very sketchy hotel. I will be contacting corporate or whomever I need to get a refund and make report to health inspector

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have set foot in my entire life. There were hairs in the bed, stains on walls, ceiling, bathroom walls and shower, and bedding. More concerning was the smell of the room. It was mold or mildew mixed with stale smoke. My kids are asthmatic and were wheezing within 10 minutes. I got a headache which went away upon leaving, We found other accommodations and were checked out within 2 hours of arrival. That was the quickest we could do it as we had appointments on campus at College of Wooster. When we checked out they made not attempt to offer a different room which honestly I wouldn’t have wanted. They told us to talk to the manager Monday (our stay was Sunday to Monday). Now this is where we dropped the ball because I thought my boyfriend handled calling Monday. He thought I did. We got a charge statement and when we saw we were still charged for 2 hours (not even that was just the fastest we could get to our appointment, find somewhere else, and get our stuff and leave). The charge statement made us realize we miscommunicated on who followed up, so I called Econolodge in Wooster and was told there’s nothing they can do because I booked through a 3rd party AND I had signed a contract being told there are no refunds after being checked in for 15 minutes. Hmm, I was told what I was signing up as information about the deposit and that the room is nonsmoking. They told me to contact the 3rd party. I did. The response I got was the hotel was refusing a refund because no formal complaint was lodged. We told the woman working the front desk the issue. The only resolution offered was for us to call he manager the following say. They said had we complained they would have offered us a different room. We most certainly complained and were offered nothing, so it would appear your employees need trained better. I am not one to complain. I have stayed in less than stellar accommodations before. I probably would have looked past the cleanliness, but I could not get past the smell as it was making me and my family sick. This location has poor customer service, is disgusting, unsanitary, unhygienic, and a potential health hazard. Honestly, it should be shut down. The Quality Inn on the same street was fantastic though.

Room updated. Hard surface floors, walls were paper thin. Could hear footsteps and conversation in the next room.

My second stay here in 2023 was terrible. No hot water, smokey room, gross stained chair.loud.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Staff/owners were super nice! The room was clean! Very accommodating! Makes a big difference right after receiving poor service at a different hotel/motel 2 days prior! Thank you to the owners of this establishment!

DON’T, just don’t! All the reviews are true. First I had a 2 inch gap in the bottom of door, you could see outside. All the furniture was damaged, bedding had not been changed from the last guest, bed WAS made. Stains on the sheets and comforter. Light bulbs loose and all flickered. Shower ceiling was cracked, mold around the top of the shower, on the tub floor and shower curtain! Toilet was absolutely disgusting! Mold around the hinges, urine stuck on the bottom of the toilet where the bolts meet the floor. So many issues I can list…Then the noise upstairs was terrible. Kids jumping around non stop. Come to find out that’s one of the “owners” apartments and it was full of kids. I understand it was earlier in the afternoon, but we travel and needed to rest. We requested a new room. Once entering our NEW room you could smell cigarette smoke terribly (non smoker) bed again was absolutely disgusting, gum was on the floor to the bathroom, bulbs still flicker! We left! We are farmers and we definitely are not picky, but my barn would have been better than this place!

If need a hotel/motel this is the place to stay

Had to swap rooms because electrical problems. Called front desk, Noone answered. Had to drive to the front to find night shift in parking lot in their car smoking. Got new room, this room no hot water, TV didn't work, mold all around and in tub. Sheets didn't fit. Sheets came off to show mattress protector was covered with blood and urine stains. Nasty.needs health department to check it out. Also, I had 2 small puppies, I was charged 40 dollars a day extra. Hilton was same price. Went to Hilton

It isn't a bad hotel but last time I was here a couple years ago there were Roaches and from what I hear they still haven't done anything about it.
