Delicious drinks, great food, comfortable atmosphere. Perfect spot for dinner with friends or a fun date night.

Always always so good. Six of us there last night. Justin H.was our server. He was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Margaritas are amazing!

The menu is not very big, but the tacitos are very good. A little pricey for food and drinks. Cool, trendy atmosphere. Our server was great, and very patient with us, as it was our first time there. We brought our young kids (6 and 7). Not much of a kid's menu selection, though they LOVED the fried ice cream - it is huge, so one would be plenty for a Family of 4 to share! I'll be back, but maybe for a date night or friend's night out (no kids lol).

This places goes bonkers crazy. I got it take out once and got like the potato royale and the tamale tots and the carne asada and the chocobomb. Everything slapped. I’ve eaten in a few times and it also slaps. The choriquezo and the smoked salsa is great. Fast. All around good.

So good! It's a cute little modern Mexican restaurant with really great margaritas (I loved the spicy mango one) and really good food. The dessert is not as good as I hoped, but that barbacoa was amazing!

Not much to say here but the all the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Always get great recommendations for food and tequila, so much so my tequila collection at home as grown. I can't say I have a favorite menu item but I do find myself always ordering the crab guacamole and carne asada, but anything you order will be delicious.

Everything about this place is amazing. Definitely would recommend. We usually sit at the bar and the service is amazing even when they are busy.

I just moved to the area and was out walking with my son around dinner time so I decided to stop here and I’m so glad I did! The waitress and hostess were so accommodating to my 14 month old son-making sure we were both comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Then our food came out and it was SO good! Even my son’s cheese quesadilla was great! I kept sneaking bites of it even tho I had plenty of my own food. Whenever my friends and family come to visit me, I will definitely be bringing them here! The drink menu was calling my name and I can’t wait to go back when I get a baby free night!

If they brought back lengua taquitos i would rate 6/5 stars.high quality food, reasonable prices, and getting michelada cans with a chaser on happy hour is divine

Had the guacamole with goat cheese, it's fantastic. The food here is reliably great and the service is very good

My boyfriend and I LOVE El Carnicero! We go at least twice a month. Consistently delicious food with something on the menu for everyone. A must go!

One of my favorite places to go for refined Mexican food. The barbacoa is absolutely delicious and the pork is so tender. Never had a bad meal here.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail and food. The pollo taquitos had the perfect flavor. This would definitely be a good to meal for me. A perfect place to end a long work week with the best drinks and food!

Loved it here. Everything from the blood orange margaritas to the chips and guacamole to the tamale I ordered were perfect. It is almost a crime that we hadn't been here before now ;-). We will be back!

We came to Lakewood to get food elsewhere and ended up here. Best decision ever. The guacamole we tried were amazing and the entrées were out of this world! We will be back, and we'll be bringing friends!

Always have a great experience at El Carnicero. The food is always incredible, presented well, and tastes delicious. 100% recommend getting the guacamole! Some combinations sound weird (mango and bacon) but they’re amazing. If you have picky eaters, there are cheese quesadillas available. Staff is always incredible, very kind and happy to give suggestions and advice on what to get. Parking is a pain especially on busy days, but a little walking will never hurt! 10/10 best place in Lakewood.

They do not put peanut warnings on their menu and the server Melanie said nothing to me about the dish I ordered having peanuts. I noticed them about a third of the way through (thought it was garlic), alerted her and a new one was brought. She didn't take my plate away so my boyfriend finished it bc he does not believe in wasting food. At the end of the night she offered us ice cream, and we declined bc it has nuts, so I don't think she really believed I have a food allergy but was just trying to get a free meal. We were then charged for the extra meal, and all she said was I should have alerted her first. Thankfully she took it off our bill. Hopefully they update their menu, as allergies can be serious!
