Normally I get great themed cakes from Ele’, but today they dropped the ball big time! I went to pick up my daughter’s baby shower cake and was brought out another cake with someone else’s name attached to it. I politely said I’m sorry but this isn’t my cake. The young lady looks at me and says this has a black baby it so it has to be your cake. I was floored! First of all it wasn’t my cake and they even had the name Shalita Smith along with her phone number on the receipt attached to the cake. My name is Shantel Smith. She then tell me that I needed to send them a picture of my cake because they didn’t have one. I pulled up the email that was sent to their email of the picture of the cake that I was ordering. The email was sent and dated 8/9/23 at 10: 24am. I was standing inside of the bakery when the person who took the order sent the email for me. The manager then comes to me and say well we can fix this. I’m like ok. She said we can scrape the icing from this cake off and try to make your cake like you want it. No ma’am that’s not what I paid for. The cake was paid in full half in August and the rest a week ago when I checked on it to make sure it would be made correctly! So then she said we can also refund you but only 50%. Again I said no! You will be refunding me all of my money! It’s an absolute shame that the workers today horribly represented such a great bakery! They really tried to make it my fault for them not having my cake done right. The workers stood around and bad mouthed me and that was totally wrong! I was cool as a cucumber and just shook my head! I paid $154.00 and was told 1/2 would go back on my card in about 8 days. I will be following up on this matter. Geesh Ele’ now I have to take my business elsewhere!

There was no butter in that icing at all. There was also a chunk cut out of the cake bottom that went all the way through. I have been a fan of ele since before moving into Woodys spot. I don't know what happened hope they can fix it

I've been placing cake orders at Ele's for years and have had pleasant experiences until NOW! The order phone rep named LAUREN is horrible! She rudely told me she was too busy to take my order and have disconnected the phone on me several times. I was finally able to get an order placed and she double charged me cupcakes and refused to send me a confirmation or
provide a reason. I will NO LONGER do business with this company that hires shady, unprofessional, immature workers. ADVICE: Ask for the name of the rep before placing your order and CHECK the pricing before providing your deposit in case Lauren double charges you. She seems to be the only person doing this.

My husband always gets my cakes from here. I really like it. Customer service is great
