Elevator Brewery and Draught Haus reviews
16The burger was not as advertised, the fries were undercooked and it took for ever to get the order in and to get the food. Atmosphere was nice and wine was great. Nice place for a drink.
Average beer and menu had couple of beers that were not available. Food was OK, as couldn't figure why white cheddar on a Thai salad.
WHY? ! Why is this place not a destination spot with EXCELLENT food, service and vibe? ! I don’t even need to describe why my experience was less than 5 stars, I’ve spent over a decade in the industry and this place was not good - SO not good. I’m rooting for Elevator and I hope someone or SOMETHING happens to take this place to the next level that it could/should/would be! Come ON!
My food was excellent. Beer selection was good. All drinks were reasonably priced. Waitress was good, but she looked very stressed. I think it is more a 3 $$$ bill place instead of 2. Would recomend at least going once if you are in Columbus.
I stopped here very recently while in Columbus and this is definitely a very unique brewery. The historic building is incredible. We only got appetizers here but we got the Kraut Balls, Pot Stickers and Calamari and it was all very good! We had a friendly waiter as well.
Definitely recommend from me!
I can't believe I've never visited this place before. It's a beautiful old building. Craft beer on draft, too bad that the brewery is no longer around. They did have a yummy amber ale from elevator still. Several vegan options on the menu. The staff is excellent!
One of a kind atmosphere and great food with a variety of price ranges. The beer selection was good along with the liquor if that's your thing. I'm honestly surprised I have lived here for years and never heard of this place. I think I would love to come back with a large party since they have plenty of space.
Stayed at the Courtyard around the corner from here. Had their hamburger/fries and an Amber beer. Everything was really good. The building is fantastic, they don't often make them like this anymore.
We have waited over an hour past ordering our dinners. Only after we inquired how long were we given bread. The larger parties in the restaurant took priority. The salads were sub-par and their wings were cold once they arrived.
Food was amazing. Not really a great place for kids (dishes with unique ingredients and a higher price point), but nice for a date night.
Delicious food with a cool 1800s ambience complete with stained glass and some cool haunted ghost stories. I had the pork and it was excellent. Everyone in my party ordered something different and all raved about the food. Highly recommend!
Such a great place. Came in for lunch and got the honey habinaro chicken sandwich by far best chicken sandwich i have every had. Get that nice sweet and a like heat comes knocking at your day. Also so love the look of the place. Very good place.
Stopped in after dinner and got some cocktails. Very good! Classic cocktails with a twist. I'd come back for sure. Love the atmosphere too.
Great Food! Great Service! Great Atmosphere! I can't say enough good things about this place! You can come from a business meeting or a buckeyes game and feel at home. They make a great selection of beers, and they have top notch food for a good price. The building is over 100 years old and has the unique architecture and original stained glass ro prove it. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
I went for their restaurant week menu. The staff was excellent. My waiter was Julian and he did such a good job taking care of us even though the restaurant was incredibly busy.
Cool historical history and vibe. Great food selection and BEER! Plenty of history in these walls, seedy too! I like it!
