Eli's BBQ reviews
15Amazing bbq ordered 3 times on doordash.ribs is good and tender.the Jalapeno grits make u wanna slap yo mama and the Mac is creamy and cheesy too. I'll be ordering again something different next time
The staff seem friendly but the mac and cheese had a sour flavor, the beans had a strange taste, and the pork was flavorless. The BBQ sauce and coleslaw were decent. There are only 7 tables inside and the bees claim the tables outside so you should consider carry out.
Had the pulled pork sandwich. Was tasty. Just didn't care for the outdoor seating. Bees were all over the place and the garbage bins and tables could have been cleaner
Food was good, but it took 45 mins to get our food. After all the waiting the workers did not apologize and they even forgot the bbq sauce on all three of our sandwiches. Been eating here for a long time, but this time will be our last. Get it together Eli’s
Really good BBQ. It has a very unorthodox environment and ordering system. So bring some patience along. The food was good but not quite up to the hype of what I'd been hearing. I went on a beautiful summer day and really enjoyed the outdoor seating they provided. Overall I would say it is a great place to try once and maybe come back if it isn't out of your way. Would recommend at least one visit.
Not awful. Pretty dry meats, very basic sauces. Sides are decent-ish, at best. Limited menu… very clunky restaurant layout & system. Trying to reinvent the wheel results in shapes that don’t roll. Maybe reinvent the menu instead. I’d return for the smiles if there were any: the food definitely gives me no reason to wander back.
Cute little establishment. Excellent food and the sides are amazing. Excellent barbeque sauce as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick, but quality bite to eat. Good portion sizes and food was fresh, hot, and fast.
My favorite BBQ place. Listening to vinyls playing Christmas songs and we are licking our wounds and this delicious BBQ after the 11/28/21 Bengals Game. I’m a Steelers fan and a fan of all things Cincinnati, especially Eli’s BBQ. This place is a must if you love BBQ. Tent out back with BYOB right by the Ohio River.
We had Eli"s at an event a couple years ago and loved it and wanted to go and eat at their location and it wasn't a disappointment it was delicious.
I had tried Eli's from Kroger and liked it, but it is much better from the Riverside location. I tried the online ordering which worked perfectly and everything was packed and ready to go when I stopped to get it. The staff were great and the food was great, so I'll be back.
Eli’s is so delicious. My favorite is the rib tips. I love the jalepano cornbread too. Sometimes the family all get something different & then share which is my favorite way so we can all get some of everything. Just remember if you drink alcohol it is BYOB.
Sadly super disappointed. We drove close to 2 hours to try this place out from Kentucky and were both let down. The pulled pork sandwich was okay, maybe 3/5. The ribs were terrible, dry and rough and little flavor. The beans weren’t like normal baked beans, they were very unpleasant. The cornbread was decent. Not a fan of everything being a la carte, it made the experience unnecessarily expensive.
Really great BBQ! Cole Slaw is outstanding and everything from the pulled pork to the sandwich bun was very good.
I don't live in the Cincinnati area anymore, and this is one of the places I miss the most. I got ribs and wings here a handful of times, and they are so darn good. Don't be scared away by the prices- it's worth every penny.
The first time I went here was 2016 and I never forgot how good the food was. Today, I finally got to come back but this time with my husband! You can't go wrong with BBQ food and eating at a picnic table. The pulled pork sandwich is sweet, juicy, and flavorful. The baked beans have a smokey BBQ flavor. The mac and cheese is thicc and yummy. My husband had the "dirty" version of the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and he was obsessed. Definitely a must-see when in Cinci.
