Retainer cracked due to poor quality. It is really thin compare to the one I got before the company got bought out and renamed. Also, the price increased by 50% while the quality is decreased by 70%. I asked if there's any warranty and no, there's not. It is sad. I'm moving to different orthodontist.

Love my orthodontics office and the staff. They are very friendly and the place is very clean and welcoming. The process of the exam to start treatment and throughout has been easy though Covid put a delay in my treatment timeframe. I like how they send appointment reminders a few days before instead of the day right before. I am glad i found and choose this orthodontics office over others in my area and i would definitely recommend!

Elyria Orthodontics is the best out there! Dr Marshall is everything you’d hope for in an orthodontist. Her skill is amazing, the results have been beyond my expectation, she’s personable, her office is organized, runs on time, and every staff person has been wonderful. I’m so thankful for this office!

I would give zero stars but Google won't let me post without selecting at least one star. When we initially went for a consult and agreed to the process we started with Dr. Fogel and no one informed us he was retiring. Then a second orthodontist came into the practice and still no official retirement notice for Dr. Fogel. Since Dr. Fogle left there have been 2 new orthodontists. The hours of operation are horrible for kids in school (which is their main client base). We were estimated 2 to 2.5 years and we're at 3.5 years now. They have under corrected my daughter's bite then over corrected it and now she's back to being under corrected. Brackets fall off constantly and wires break frequently. It was very expensive and the care my daughter has received has been sub par. I voice my complaints every time I schedule her next appointment and I am dismissed. I was a patient of Dr. Fogel as a child and I felt I received great oral health care and did not have the issues we're running into with my daughter. I am frustrated, disappointed and upset that I chose to come here. But I've paid in full up front so I'm stuck now.
Do NOT give this orthodontist your business and do NOT trust them to help you or your child.

Addition.please note I was sent a text message from the Orthodontist's office requesting I submit a review. I did not come on here of my own accord. The above opinion I posted last night. This morning I received a phone call persoanlly from Dr. Marshall telling me I am hostile and she is refusing to finish my daughter's treatment. Apparently differences of opinion and criticism don't go over well with the Doctor. My opinion is that a professional would complete the treatment as agreed and not be threatened by a differing opinion from their own. Please also note I was asked to take this post down. Seems like she has something to hide to me. I apparently will be getting a partial refund for only 4 months and she will no longer complete my daughter's orthodontist work.

Yesterday I took my daughter to see Dr Marshall for ortho consult and she was the sweetest! Very informative and was open and honest about her treatment options! She was very straight forward and made everything very effortless for us to decide what we needed to do! If you’re looking for someone who is kind and gentle…I’d choose her again and again!

Thank you, Dr. Marshall for answering all of my questions and explaining the different procedures that I need to have done. This is a very upbeat professional office with a great staff.

The biggest problem I have with Elyria Orthodontist is that when my parents and I first started with them, the orthodontist was Dr. Fogel. Only a few months in, I started seeing less and less of Dr. Fogel at my appointments, and at one point I hadn't seen him at all for months. Come to find out almost a year later, he had retired. Why I had never been told when I was consulting there that he was planning to retire is ridiculous in the first place, let alone not telling your clients when he had retired. I was also told that I would have braces for 2 1/2 to 3 years. It has now been almost 4 years that I have had my braces. They have both over and under corrected my bite but can't seem to get it right. I have had brackets fall off a multitude of times. The hours that they have available are astronomical. They expect their clients, which mostly consist of students, to miss school to come in for their orthodontist appointment. I hope that they will read all these reviews and better their business by taking this criticism in.

In Response to the owner.yes, I agree, you were very accommodating for all of my emergency appointments, and I very much appreciate your kindness throughout. But unfortunately, that doesn't mean that you don't do your job. The fact that constructive criticism is unable to be taken is also very unprofessional, and taking me off of your clientele list because I am voicing my opinion?

Was told by another orthodontist that I would need 3 teeth pulled before I could have braces. Came to Elyria orthodontics and was told I didn’t need any teeth pulled to have braces and that if they would have been pulled it would have led to more problems. I am happy with my care here and if I have any issues they always fit me in that day. I love the staff here too!

As any parent wants is to have children have a better future than they have!
When our two girls were at the end of elementary school age we noticed that their teeth were everywhere. Wanting a better smile for them we began the necessary arrangement to achieve that goal. Our youngest daughter was able to start the process about a year earlier than her sister. She went through a lot before the braces even went on her. She had a Mara and some type of palate expander. Needless to say they were very painful. Everyday we had to turn a crank in her mouth. Remember she isn't even a teenager yet. She gets through a couple years of this torture and then the braces go on and it seems like everything is going well. She was born with a tooth infused to her bottom jaw. When asked about the removal of the tooth it was said that when the braces come off you can have it removed and fill it with an implant. We had the braces removed summer of 2019. Over Thanksgiving 2021 we had her wisdom teeth out along with the tooth infused to her bottom jaw. The oral surgeon and our family dentist can NOT believe the mess my daughters mouth is in. She has an overbite because of the Mara and expansion of the top doesn't match the bottom bite. The 3 teeth behind the baby tooth on the bottom have fallen in and the top teeth on that same side have nothing to bite down on. Needless to say she only has about three teeth that touch each other to eat with.
Both our girls did everything right with their teeth for the past 6 years. Kept rubber bands in, brushed, took care of their teeth. MY daughter is 16 now. What would you do?
We went back to Dr. Marshall. Hopefully our daughter will be able to get her teeth corrected. Fingers crossed. ASK questions before the braces come off. Go with your gut!
Our older daughter got her braces off today and she looks beautiful.

When your appointment is at 9: 30 it really means you wait till 11 and then they work on you and taking breaks in between. A simple rubber band change on my braces has landed me 4 hours in there and the nurses/ hygienists gossip while not doing anything. They always check on people who brought parents faster so the parents want them to come back. Absolutely Disgusting
