I've been under Dr. Alshami's care since 2012. He initially started working with me during a difficult period when I was hospitalized for a suicide attempt. His support and communication were outstanding, not only with me but also with my wife and mother, ensuring they were informed about my situation and the planned treatments. Throughout the years, Dr. Alshami and his team have consistently been attentive to my needs.

Being a disabled veteran dealing with PTSD, Dr. Alshami and his staff have gone above and beyond, collaborating with the VA to ensure I receive optimal treatments, even though it involves additional effort due to the VA covering all my costs.

It's important to clarify that Dr. Alshami is a Psychiatrist, not a Psychologist, so our discussions focus on pertinent questions related to my medication requirements rather than in-depth exploration of feelings. Some individuals may expect counseling, but that's not within the scope of a Psychiatrist's role. Dr. Alshami has kindly referred me to excellent Psychologists, although I haven't utilized their services extensively, as I prefer not to delve deeply into my past.

Both I and my family credit Dr. Alshami with saving my life by diligently ensuring my mental well-being and balance throughout the years. His efforts have not only helped me stay emotionally stable but also saved my marriage. This review is completely unbiased, as I don't have a personal friendship with Dr. Alshami—I'm just sharing my genuine experience.
