Highly recommend Embrace. Easy to submit claims. Prompt reimbursement. Excellent coverage of basic care and even for more complicated conditions.

Very prompt claim experience from Embrace. Easily understood claim payment form along with a personalized note explaining benefits. Benefit payment was exactly as expected and claim submission was very simple,

I would give them zero stars if I could. Stay far away from this company. They are unscrupulous and will do anything in their power to not pay on claims. They say they will take 1 month to review a pet’s previous health history but it took almost 4 months. They call everything in the world a pre-existing condition. I am cancelling and trying any other company. Run run far away from them!

I had Embrace Pet Insurance from January 2017 until January 2023. The wellness package was well worth the premium. The $450 returned to me was greater than the cost every year. The illness/accident portion was not used until September 2021, and I was very grateful to have it then. The cost was very affordable with slight increases each year, but my deductible was lowered each year I didn't use it, reducing it from $300 to $100 when used. I had expenses of over $9,000 dollars in 3 months with almost $7,000 being reimbursed. The premium went up a little more for 2022, but still worth the price. My Molly is 14 now and she has two Veterinary specialists who care for her and she is doing well. When the premium jumped again this year I decided not to renew. I have a good idea what her expenses will be and I can prepare for them. I have had great service and value for six years with Embrace, and am so glad I decided to get pet insurance when I did. Their web-site is user friendly, and if you need to speak with a person that can be accomplished easily as well, all reimbursements can be deposited direct into your bank account, and are completed quickly. If you have pets you adore give some thought for emergencies that may put you in a bad place, and by all means check Embrace out, it most certainly did work for me.

My recent experience with Embrace Pet insurance was uneventful… meaning everything went extremely well. No problem, submitted claims, and they were paid in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company.

First time having to put a claim within my policy for over 5 years and the experience was beyond my expectations.very easy and quick process. I will continue to use embrace as long as I have my pets and will recommended as well.

I dread dealing with insurance. Also, it’s not really a great event that leads to a family having to reach out for their covered pet. However, this company has seen us through multiple events and pets. They created a safety blanket and followed through during our toughest times. If you aren’t signed up, the service is 100% worth it.

Embrace is the most unapologetic and inflexible company I've had the displeasure of dealing with in a long time. I was a customer for 1 year, who had submitted no claims, when my premium was increased by 20%. I called and inquired why a new customer, same pet, same age, same health status, would be offered a lower rate than an existing customer. (I confirmed the rate was lower by calling their sales team, offering the same information about me, my pet and my policy selections as my current policy). Their answer "that's the way insurance works". I didn't renew my policy, but within a few days decided to renew despite the rate increase. I spoke with a supervisor from Embrace who was supposed to renew my policy, but failed to do so. A month later after realizing I didn't have coverage anymore, I called Embrace to create a new policy (at the lower rate). I was told I'd pay a $25 reactivation fee. I asked the agent to waive the $25 reactivation fee in consideration that their supervisor failed to renew my policy in the first place - they would not. I proceeded anyway. I had my vet prepare a new orthopedic report card, but was told I'd have to go back to the vet to get them to post date it since my policy wouldn't start for another day. Again I asked for some grace since the date on the report card was the same date as my new policies first payment - again, no empathy or concessions offered for my previous experience. I decided not to pursue reactivating my policy with Embrace. If they're this difficult and show no inclination toward customer service at the start of a policy (or to an existing customer), I don't want to find out how they handle claims. I wish I'd never given this company a dime of my money!
I'm sure Embrace will reply to this review with "please give our customer service a call". I did! I even spoke with a supervisor and you didn't help me.

They don’t actually want to cover your animal if he/she becomes sick or has an emergency. Nicole Wood an employee at Embrace advised me to take my pets off of Embrace and save my money for there future vet visits. What a great way to keep a customer. Lacking empathy, support and all around rude customer service. Talks all over you and doesn’t allow you finish your sentence, nor addressed direct questions unless asked multiple times. Takes months for claims to be processed. Would not recommend!

When we first adopted our dog we signed up for this insurance. Cost was reasonable at ~$300 for the year with an additional $390 for a wellness plan. Wellness claims were easy and quickly handled however, premiums increased each year for medical coverage. At first not by much - $25, next $100, by age 6 we were paying $1100 for an annual premium when we started at $300. This year it has jumped to $1440. It makes more sense to set cash aside while they are young to cover these expenses. The only good thing is the wellness plan which would include wellness visits, vaccinations, flea & tick and heart worm prevention meds.

My first year they took a year to resolve my claim, and now they wait up to 15 days for the last minute to resolve it.when they put it pending they don't ask for the necessary documentation we have to call to resolve. I think communication should be better and the app should be more specific with messages. You have to send a copy of the email when you request something to avoid future problem's.we ask the vet if any requests were made they always say they didn't receive anything. It’s a lot of money invested for little professionalism.

I have used Embrace pet insurance for many years, and they never disappoint. In fact, their processes keep improving and they are easier to use than they were when I first started with them. With 4 dogs, and 1 of them elderly, I use them a lot. Very happy, long-term Embrace pet insurance customer.

Embrace is awesome. They pay 80 percent on claims and in a matter days. I don't have to think about money but rather taking good care of my dog.

All I can say is wow. I have 3 dogs and got Embrace when I adopted the third pup because two dogs with allergies is expense and I wanted to make sure the new dog would be covered. All have policy with Embrace and I am well aware preexisting conditions are not covered but for the puppy that shouldn't be the case. Well I was wrong.because I asked the vet a questions about my dog itchy skin (which she was not diagnose with anything) just noted that I asked, her claim for ear infection was denied. I should have left the policy close when it was closed accidentally. When my others claims were denied I understood why and didn't press the issue because I didn't have wellness reward.

Embrace has been so fast and efficient with my claims. I had to update info on my account and I spoke with someone who took care of it immediately and was very friendly.

Tiffany is an excellent pet insurance representative. She is extremely pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable. In addition I spoke with another Embrace representative regarding enrollment and I was also impressed with her knowledge and friendly persona.
