I was here for a year just when they updated the payment method online. They’ll take every chance they can to cheat you out of cash.
Tldr: separate times, once paying via check and the other using the online system, i was told i never paid rent and that i owed money. When instead they were keeping my pay and charging extra.
It started with rent not going through online because “my bank was withholding payments over 500”, which my bank has never had a problem with, and racking up late fees months after they were due with no warning. So late fees had late fees. I went to my bank for help and they did better, they provided me with proof my money had actually been CASHED already.
I walked into the office with a bank receipt and suddenly they realized the fees were unnecessary.
This happened a second time when i switched to paper checks cuz i was frustrated with the online system. I got another late fee for rent, that i recorded already paying in my checkbook. I confront them about it and they found my check for rent sitting in someones desk drawer.

It was ok-ish. Management was ok. The apartment itself was often noisy and my room had a reoccurring mold problem every year.

They do not make the rent prices clear on twine website. They portray rent as being 550 for the whole 2 bedroom apartment. They fail to mention at all anywhere o their site that it’s 550 per person. They also fail to mention that you have to pay to be able to park there if you rent there. And it’s an extra 50 dollars a month.

Here’s the thing, the apartment experience I had was fine. I really only had two issues while living here and that was maintenance and the washer/dryer situation. For maintenance, they were really slow. My roommate’s bathroom sink didn’t work and it took them about 3 weeks to come fix it after she filled out the complaint online. The washer and dryer is in the basement of each building and if you live on the 3rd floor, sorry. Also, you have to pay for the washer and dryer whereas in other luxury apartments on campus, the washer and dryer are in the unit. However, these aren’t the reasons why I rated this place a 2. I rated EnVision Apartments a 2 because of everything that went bad when I decided I wanted to leave and break my lease early. They pretty much told me the only way to get out of my lease to to find a lease takeover. My roommate’s lease was ending and she said she would take my lease, the manager sent my roommate MY lease and she SIGNED it. After two weeks I called the leasing office to make sure nothing else needed to be done and they told me there is no record of my lease being sent out or anyone signing it. I felt like I was in the twilight zone because my roommate sent me the email of the manager sending her the lease and they just deleted it out of the system. After about 3 months I find a lease takeover but they still make me pay for a whole month of $600 even though I wasn't living there and said they would reimburse me for the prorated rent. They NEVER told me that they would be taking $200 because “I broke the lease” even though I found a lease takeover. So I only received $20 back from the $220 I was suppose to receive back from the prorated rent. Also, Taylor in the leasing office is the only one who will keep it real with you and help you in anyway, if you have any questions or issues I would specifically ask for her. THE TAKEAWAY: This place isn’t terrible to live in, it only gets bad when you want to leave.
