David and his team were incredible to work with.so caring, respectful and thoughtful. They took all the stress away from a very difficult life event so we could mourn and celebrate the life of my dad. The service was beautiful and seamless.

Our father passed away in Florida right before Christmas weekend and the burial was to take place in Columbus. Booking travel for my father’s body and to get my mother and sister back to Columbus, was already hectic, but the weather was bad for flying as well. During this difficult time David Levy made sure that all aspects of my father’s funeral were taken care of. He took care of being sure my father would be back in Columbus in good time. He checked in with us regularly to reassure us that everything was in order. He made me feel confidant that everything would take place as planned, and it did. I am grateful for the help of David and Epstein’s Funeral home. I felt that we were in friendly comforting hands.

Epsteins provide service for both my parents, most recently this month, and they were easy and helpful to work with 24x7. My parents had set up a fully paid preneed contract 20+ years ago and Epsteins honored everything that was asked for I would recommend them to anyone.

My name is Jacob and I was acting as a guarding for the Jewish Lady that just passed away. The funeral was held at a gloomy and rainy day, but was ideally arranged and conducted by the Epstein Memorial Chapel. I have worked with Epstein Memorial over many years. They handled arrangements for both my parents and my late husband in an extremely caring and professional way. David was available at all times, and was always extremely responsive. They are sensitive and caring when people need it most. Most recently, David and Barbara went far above on beyond on something additional I needed, and they refused to take payment. I cannot recommend Epstein highly enough.

The warm and compassionate treatment my daughter and I received while making arrangements for her father, (my ex husband who hadn't remarried, and passed away unexpectedly) was exactly as one would expect from a first class establishment like Epstein's Memorial Chapel. We had no warning, no final instructions or paperwork from the deceased, and we were at a great loss for what to do. Funeral Director Barbara Bejeault's calming tone and the delicate handling of this heartbreaking end of life business, made for a smooth transition of things. During our initial meeting, I nervously asked Barbara, "So, just how many ex-wives tend to their ex's funerals? " She smiled a kind and generous smile, and with great respect replied, "Oh Sally, you'd be surprised at how many. " In one sentence she put us at ease that this mother daughter duo were not an unusual pairing and we'd be fine. Barbara was kind, clear and concise when speaking with my daughter, who at 36 was grieving and faced with all these decisions. When we had questions, Barbara's return calls were prompt, offering us the security that our concerns were of priority to her.
I must say that the needs of our stunned and overwhelmed tiny little family were met with grace and dignity, and compassion.

Epstein Memorial, and in particular David Levy, went above and beyond to make the painful experience of losing my father in law a beautiful tribute and act of closure for our family. This would be appreciated under any circumstance but given the challenging ones surrounding Dad's passing, David's efforts were extraordinary. Dad passed away in Florida and had to be transported to Columbus - in the midst of Omicron no less. From coordinating air travel to getting Dad's rabbi out of retirement to conduct the graveside service to making sure all specific requests (of Dad's and ours) were honored to facilitating a seamless graveside/zoom funeral - David not only handled every obstacle but anticipated every need. Our family could not give a higher recommendation of Epstein Memorial. We will be grateful forever for the care, responsiveness.competence and compassion they demonstrated during the hardest of times.

Epstein Memorial Chapel was truly "a friend in need". We had to deal with some complications and David Levy made everything smooth and easy for us so that the remembrance of our mom's good life could be deeply heartfelt and beautiful.

David Levy, the funeral director we worked with, was very responsive and available as we made plans, and he handled details that would have been hard to navigate in our emotional state (like the publication of the obituary). At graveside, where we held the service, everything was set up beautifully. He and his team, working in the background, made everything run smoothly despite a thunderstorm that hit right before the service began. That included having the service available over Zoom.

Losing a beloved family member was very difficult, and then I had to go immediately to Epstein Memorial Chapel to make the funeral arrangements. I, along with a few other family members met, but were really unprepared. David Levy thoughtfully guided us through making all of the final arrangements including casket, ritual preparation of the body, burial, and even he even helped secure a place for the luncheon following the funeral. David did this all with patience, kindness, and compassion.
The funeral was beautiful, simple and very touching. Epstein's Chapel and David Levy did a truly wonderful job.

As always, the staff at Epstein are great. Attention to every detail is made so that everything is exactly how we wanted it. They made it so easy for my family at such a difficult time. I felt 100% confident in leaving everything to them and had no worries. Everyone there was very responsive to our needs and was available 24/7 when we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely be contacting them again in the future!
