Eric Snow YMCA reviews
12The staff at this location needs to be trained better. When I signed up for my membership I was not given any information. I was merely handed a form to fill out. I gave myself a tour, figured out where the locker rooms were and found the location in the gym that offers printouts about class schedules, open gym schedules and programing for children. Shortly after joining, I logged into my online account to provide updated and new payment information. I received confirmation that the update went through. Imagine my surprise when I received an email saying my payment as declined and I would be issued a late payment fee. I contacted the gym to let them know I provided new payment info online and was told the system was still trying to process my deleted card info. They corrected the issue but this left me with concern. After going to the gym several times, and dealing with lack luster service, I decided to cancel my membership. When I requested a cancelation form, I was given very little information. The person at the front desk barely acknowledged me and, when I turned in the cancelation form, I was told my membership would end on December 15. I was surprised to see that I was charged on Dec 16. I called into this location to ask what was going on and was told that I would get a call back. I waited a few days and, after not receiving a call back, I called again. This time, I was placed on hold and then was told that no one at this location could help me and I needed to call someone at the Meyers Lake location. After speaking with the person at Meyers Lake, I found out the person at the Eric Snow location gave me false information (even after looking that information up in the system) and that my membership did not end on Dec 15. Overall, my experience has been very frustrating.
The pool is not always open. We pay a lot of money and used the pool on the weekends. Went today to use hot tub. No signs at the door or check on that it was closed. We got dressed and went to the hot tub to find out its closed. REALLY! How long is it going to be closed? Why should we have to have to pay full price for part time use.
My personal gym. Love it because it's alot less crowded on most machines than other Y's in the area. Very clean facility, beautiful new building. Never have issues with the staff. Only complaint is hours of operation. I wish their daily hours were open a bit longer and weekends were an option.
I went here last year for my girls on the run program before covid shut everything down and let me just say this place is amazing and the staff here is just so wonderful and kind
Member interaction has really gone downhill. Needs and requests have been disregarded by upper management. A friend of mine signed up for private swim lessons the beginning of winter, showed up and wasnt even on the schedule. Staff was not helpful in resolving the issue. She transferred to the Jackson y. The hours open are not meeting the needs of the surrounding area. Staff spends alot of time on their phones instead of servicing the members.
Great gym all around besides the hours its open. Close at 5pm on Friday? ! Not open Saturday or Sunday? ! Wish I would have known that before enrolling
Some staff are very rude, disrespectful and do not know how to properly speak with people without an attitude. When working with the community/kids, you should know how to speak and approach people appropriately. Very very disappointment and embarrased as to how my husband and i were spoke to.
Nice workout area with newer weight machines. A small free weight area too. Lots of bikes and treadmills for cardio. Friendly, courteous staff. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna are very nice. If u don't like open swim w the kids, go in the morning for adults only. They have water aerobics too. Basketball court is nice but wish it was as big as Meyers lake YMCA.
I don’t even know why? I even sign up with this ymca, It’s a new faculty of every month there is something broken in there. Took 3months to repair the pool if it even fixed. If it not the pool broken, it’s the spa. The team members are very unprofessional and have no idea how to do their job. I’m being nice giving 1 star but if I had the option to give a 0 I would. This is honestly the worst place to go to because almost everything takes forever to fix and they steady taking money out each month but don’t have the common sense to repair things in there to make people want to come back
Always delicious! I got the Johnny Apple Cheese salad. So yummy! They had probably the cleanest tables I've ever seen at a restaurant! Also great service.
This ymca has a wonderful open pool schedule. They are always clean and the pool is open a lot more than other pools around the area which makes it nice. Everyone is always very friendly also
