Dr Arce was very kind, peronable and very knowledgeable. For the tests I was having done, he explained clearly everything every step of way and was very gentle. I would certainly recommend him.

This man does not deserve to hold the medical title of a doctor or neurologist. He has knowingly conducted unecessary medical procedures upon patients, which left them in worse physical states and with new medical conditions that have impacted their lives in the worst of ways. He is dishonest and unprofessional, however, those are only a couple amongst many negative adjectives associated with him. Currently, he is being investigated, would you really decide to be seen by a doctor that may be losing his legal ability to practice soon? Would you take your car to a shop that is well known for destroying engines? Of course not. Your health is crucial, your body is the most important vehicle you will ever have. Do not visit this man, do not allow anyone you know to visit him either.

DO NOT SEE DR ARCE he carelessly ordered a dangerous un needed procedure (lumbar puncture) did not state common risks, did not include any risks in his consent form. His radiologist lied when I asked if there was a chance of a csf leak, said no chance.the awful procedure caused a csf leak which damaged my inner ear causing horrible tinnitus hyperacusis, ive been suffering for 2 years as a result. I see he has a lot of bad reviews
there are well over 50 neurologists in the columbus area there is no need to see dr. Arce he is expendable

To call this man the seething serpent the Bible warns about would only be an insult to snakes. His medical license should be removed from his careless self righteous hands. Knowledge is power and ignorance can be fatal. Please do not jeopardize your health by setting up an appointment of any kind with him. There are so many other doctors in the area you can go to, stay far away from this one.

When a Dr.is rude, arrogant, and has a condescending attitude, it can make a patient feel uncomfortable and anxious. Dr. Arce exhibited all of these traits in the “care” of my son. Not good qualities for anyone, but especially someone you are entrusting your health and well-being with. As negative as these “qualities” are, they can be overlooked if the Dr.is knowledgeable and will take the time to form an accurate diagnosis. I was present when Dr. Arce did a quick obligatory hospital exam on my son. In less than 10 minutes he performed this “examination” and ordered a plethora of tests, one of which was not only unnecessary, but which caused a devastating, debilitating, disabling condition to my son. The possible consequences (or side effects) were not given in writing OR verbalized. If they had been, the test would have been refused. To add insult to injury, when my son met with Dr. Arce for the follow up appointment and explained what he was experiencing, he was totally dismissed by Dr. Arce, and made to feel insignificant and unknowledgeable. Dr. Arce denied that the test could have caused the problem my son was experiencing. Unknowledgeable? Dr. Arce is apparently unknowledgeable, as the condition my son experienced, and is still experiencing, is listed as a possible side effect of that test by the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, and Dr. Arce’s alma mater, The Ohio State University. Assuming he did have this knowledge but chose to lie, well that’s another reason that if you are considering him as your doctor for neurological care, I suggest you run, not walk, to find another doctor.

In 1948, physicians of a particular German political party were brought to justice for performing unecessary medical procedures on innocent people. This man has done the same, proper justice is needed. His medical license needs revoked, his degree removed, and the MD stripped from his name. Additional legal actions should follow.
You may be doing your research, wondering if you should seek his help for whatever medical issues you are enduring. This man will not help you, he will do the opposite. If you are helping a loved one search for medical services, keep them away. Please continue your search and avoid him at all cost.

Experience: Bad. It was a huge mistake visiting this man's office.
Character: He was bombastic about being a neurologist, rude, and condescending like others have described him. He did not look, behave, talk, listen, or act anything like a doctor.

What went wrong:
1) During my visit he was fixated on a narrow view painted only in his head about the reason for my visit.
2) His loud voice and tone were inappropriate.
3) His notes deviated from facts.
4) His conclusions boil down to his inability to make a clear assessment of any value.
5) His mistaken perception led him to hear only bits of information that supported his thoughts, while ignoring the main problem.
My personal opinion: I strongly believe this man does not deserve the honorable title of being a doctor.

I’ve had this appointment scheduled since October. I got to my 8: 30 appointment at 8: 33 this morning. I was the only one in the office. They immediately turned me away as he likes his patients there 30 mins early. I was not able to leave my house that early as I have obligations. I made sure I brought my scans and every piece of info I have received on the ticking time bomb in my head- I made it apparent I was dealing with something serious. I get bad headaches daily and I’ve had them for months so it was important I wasn’t turned away. At 8: 37 I asked her (begged really) to please have some compassion and ask the doctor in the empty office room.

No one would speak to me about it. She said she would be happy to type a letter that they are turning me away and never came out again the front desk lady handed me this. Not sure what to say except I will never forget the day I neeeded help and wasn’t able to get it because he didn’t feel like it. I’m writing this in shock and tears but I will find another doctor. We have to do better as a community.
