15Very dirty place the sona stink. And the pool water so dirty the don't clean it anymore. It use to be clean before
Great staff and really nice guests. The only downside is how busy peak gets. That being said there is plenty of room on the floor. I’m mainly a lifter so it’s perfect for my purposes.
I've been a member here since this club opened as LA Fitness. Since becoming Esporta equipment doesn't get fixed, barbells and dumbbells don't get replaced, and I have to shop on Amazon to buy my own accessories like a vbar for rows, or cable attachments.
Love me a gym that repairs the vending machines before replacing the dumbbells that have been missing since last August.
I'd put 0 stars if I could. They treat their employees like krap! Especially 2 people in particular and that is Michelle and Christine. They are terrible people! Don't waste your money or time here. Find a new gym! With GOOD PEOPLE!
I’m an active duty member and my wife and I Recently moved from there. I went in showed the manager my orders with her name on it, she canceled the membership. Well my wife had a trainer and when you sign up it’s separate. This is something that they don’t tell you. You have to cancel that as well (dumb) now she is getting threatening calls that “ if you don’t pay we will send you to collections”. Oh I can’t wait to have the conversation on Monday with the manager. If you are Military and your spouse gets a trainer make sure you cancel both…. And if you are military you should choose a better gym to go to, or even better sign up through active fit and don’t even deal with all this.
A fine, but not great gym. Appear to have changed membership policies and removed guest passes, which makes it more expensive. (Multiple couples were adding memberships as we walked in today after the switcheroo.) Staff is nice.
Worst customer service by Nicole smith and her manager Makayla watts. Nicole was laughing and mocking me when I was raising the concern. I m stuck at this gym because I like the facility and the proximity of the location.
2. When u complain about equipments and men locker room the team doesn’t act promptly. Example: The stretching machine by the stairs is still making squeaking noise even though I inform them few weeks ago.
3. Lastly I wanted to write down their names and the manager asked me whether I have pen. There was couple of pens lying in front of her but still, she was asking that I have a pen to write their names down. They were constantly mocking.
4. Nicole Smith, was giggling and laughing when I was talking. What a rude behavior!
This place is getting worse by the day. The place acts like you are lucky to be a member as opposed to a valued customer
Basketball court is always closed for cleaning or maintenance.
Asking to wear a wristband for basketball that you have to check out everytime.
Machines are broken more frequently for longer periods of time.
Would have given 1 star but it is actually clean.
An Update
you can’t carry your gym bag anymore because they said it takes space at the gym. Seriously! It’s not actually how they organize their equipment and compress them next to each other and leave half of the gym empty so you can watch other members walking on grass. I started thinking seriously about leaving this gym.
I have been with La fitness for a year, now with EsportA. I tried to call to ask about the new policy and contracts since there’s a difference in prices compared with La fitness. The guy on the phone didn’t give me enough time to ask my question it was less than minute. Then he said “I have another 2 customers to help, I’m trying to hold my breath “. Then he put me on hold and never back. I was shocked and felt offended, I called back and I told him that you put me on hold, and didn’t give me time to ask my question. He didn’t even apologize and he asked me how he can help me.
I asked him about the policy again, he wasn’t willing to help or provide details! For example I asked him about the price differences and his answer was” depending on what you choose “ like okay? I’m waiting you to continue, you didn’t help me yet!
After being a member for 4+ years, I had to cancel my membership. They changed their policies and member rates which has enticed a flood of high school students between 3-7p every day.
Between the crowding, and lack of equipment I was forced to find another gym. As a busy working professional, I just don’t have 2+ hours a day to wait around for equipment to be available for my 1 hour gym routine.
Never clean, never fix equipment problem, and now can't carry bag? This place is going in the wrong direction as a gym
Giving 1 star because me and my boyfriend signed up for a free 3-day pass to test out the gym since we have never been there. We walk in and ask them to activate the passes for us and they told us that they are unfortunately not activating any free day passes because they had "a great membership promotion" going on right now.
Then why allow us to go online and sign up for a guest pass? ! It should be advertised online that they are currently not accepting day passes because of this said promotion.
We told ElJay (sales manager) we never have been there and we aren't going to sign up for a membership if we don't know how the gym is and if he would just let us check it out for the day instead of the 3 day pass like it was. And he said "yeah I mean you guys can workout today for $20 each. "
Are you kidding me? ! Anything to get money from people. Why would anyone sign up for a membership when they've never been there before? !? !? ! Seriously these big corporations have everything twisted. Maybe I'd sign up for a membership if you let me use my free pass and actually test out your gym and see if it is what I'm looking for!
So we walked out and they will never get our business when they could've.
Pretty clean, has lots of options for weights and exercise. It's a bit pricey, and extremely difficult to cancel if you wanted to.
Place is very dirty! The pool area was very cold and nasty the hot tub was full of green water and not working.
