Gym Everybody Fitness reviews
43Jenna Pennington at the Huber Heights location is an expert in her field and she is absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend her and this location!
Got talked into a 3 year contract being promised I could cancel if I moved 20 to 30 miles away from the one I signed up for. The one I signed up for was new, updated and had a pool. I moved and got stuck going to an old everybody fitness with VERY old equipment, VERY old tanning booth, no pool and customer service said I could buy out my contract for 80% of what is left which is about $700. NOT WORTH IT! Would definitely go to a different gym where they don't just want your money and actually care about gym standards as part of the contract. I didnt sign up for a old gym with old equipment I signed up with a new gym that had everything and I actually enjoyed going to. Be very cautious when you sign up and don't take their word for anything just read the papers yourself.
Let me start by saying this gym is a really nice gym. Very spread out not to clustered and very nicely laid out. I went in for the first time at the west Chester location and Todd was a great tour guide for me. Very funny and uptempo guy. Showed me the whole gym and gave us the whole pricing guide and even demoed a few machines.
I had a funky situation with only being here for 3 month before I head back to school and it hard to sign up for a monthly membership when you’re only staying for a couple months. That was no problem for Everybody fitness they gave me a great deal and it was a great experience just talking to these guys!
Shout out to Todd and Camdon for being the absolute biggest help I could ask for!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GYM FOR ANYONE!
Quality gym with excellent equipment and perks. Really enjoy the consistent trainer program that is available.
My wife has a 1 year membership with this place. For starters, the place is high price compared to other memberships. I pay for her membership and I'm billed about $32 a month. During the Covid shutdown, I was still being constantly billed. My wife is currently pregnant and marked high risk. She was told by the doctors to not go to the gym, but the gym refuses to allow her to opt out of her contract due to her medical restrictions even though I paid for the memberships during months were the facility was completely shutdown. To top it all off, they offer the same package deal that I chose at a lower rate of $20 a month currently where I'm still paying $32 a month.
I will not be renewing my contract and I completely advise anyone to go to a different gym instead of going here. They have not shown any respect to my pregnant wife and have shown that they don't care about her.
Very well run gym with kind, helpful employees AND members. I've been a member there for 8 years, and it's been great!
This is my home gym, I like that it isnt too crowded, and has enough for me to get the job done as a pro bodybuilder. Todd, the manager, really nice guy. Only suggestions I have would be to add another squat rack or 2, and enforce the "put your weights back where they belong" rule a little better. Some people have no consideration for others, but maybe if a member was called out on it, the member might step up and put their weights away. But there's that bunch in every gym, so. ️. All in all, great gym. Day care is good, too. And 24-7-365, well you just cant beat that, especially for the good price! (My membership plan is under 23 with tax)
They're back up and running! Place is super clean and people are being better at cleaning up after themselves nowadays. Glad to be back.
Very reasonable prices to join. $23 per month. Great equipment and trainers. Clean. Helpful. Child care. No contract.
Nice gym they let me use it for 2 days while out in a hotel for military training. Over all nice gym. Nice area for heavy lifters and a good cross fit area
Great gym! All the free weights and machines I need. Staff is nice and eager to help. Even during busy times people are friendly will rotate to let you work your sets.
I received a collection notice from Everybody Fitness and I had no idea that my bill wasn’t being paid. I did not receive one phone call or letter and would have gladly given a new credit card. They waited 6 months to send a letter so now a collection agency is involved. This gym is a scam and would not recommend it.
This place is a scam do not go there. No matter what you do or say they will trick you into a 3 year contract or a $1000 early buyout! Do not go there. They will slow down the cancellation process so that you get bind by the contract and if you stop paying try will send you to collection. I know that people are getting together to sue them and get their money back. Their procedure is unfair and abusif
The gym is dirty just like the restrooms and planet fitness is wayyyy better!
Wasn't this horrible till they switched to Everybody Fitness. Cancelled my account a while back (supposedly) but then bills ended up going to collections and screwed me over! No help from them at all but a big ole sorry about it. Don't sign anything with this company so many better gyms out there with better equipment and better prices! Don't be fooled!
Very bad gym, lied about the contract and cancellation.customer service is grotesque, very astonishing to see how bad of a company could have of customer service.i went to cancel my membership a few years back and i had noticed they still bill me and when i asked for a reimbursement they said they couldn’t because of some bs.i would never go to this gym because they are very money focused and could not care less about you as a customer.
Its inexpensive. It doesn't seem like a lot of thought went into the set up of everything. There are areas that have a lot of people working out with no room and areas that are always mostly empty.
DONT ENROLL! They lied about cancelling at any time. You have to be temporarily disabled with a doctor's note/letter to why you can't use their club in order to cancel; or you have to show them proof that you are moving (atleast 2 documents- they have a list) with a 30-day in advance letter to why you want to cancel because they want to make sure your not close to any of their gyms but if u are close to any of their gyms, you can't cancel; or your dead but they won't know that until they can no longer withdraw money from your account and send u to collection.its a long unwanted process. I feel like I sign my money, my life and my time to the devil. Smh.your best deal is to enroll at PlanetFitness. I wish I did.
If there was a 0 rating thats what this place would get. They like to screw people over and lie to you. They dont work with you at all financially. They lie to you about the contract then make you pay for 3 years when they said we signed up on a deal they were having for only 3 months. This place is trash.
LOVE THE 24 HOUR FLEXIBILITY. I WALK TO THE GYM FROM MY HOUSE OR TAKE A RUN ON 747. GREAT STAFF, LOCATION. WORTH THE $$$.
Great place to work out. Never crowded, laid back, (some ppl arent too keen about too fancy gyms, this one feels comfy) with a good choice of equipment. Todd is an *excellent* trainer. If you have back or knee issues he really takes it easy and doesn't push you. He listens to what you need, what machines you don't get a long with, and keeps track of your progress. I recommend this gym to anyone, especially beginners. (I'm 56, with lower back and and right knee issue, and a gym beginner so I know lol). They also offer different classes, childcare, and tanning. If I can do it, you can do it:)
