Super laid back dealership, we worked with Jeremy and he was very honest with us about what he felt would be our best options.

I have purchased vehicles from dealerships before that are white collar and almost didn't seem to take me seriously. But the workers at Exceptional are very down to earth and I love that! We are very happy with our purchase so far!

Called about a truck talked to Josh. Have to say as a used car dealership, very impressive! Back to the point Josh was straight forward no used car salesman B/S! Ended up with a good deal not a great deal but a deal that was equally beneficial to both parties. Overall great experience with Josh and the dealership. I believe they were straight forward and honest on both sides. The next time we are looking for a truck they will be the first call I make!

Avoid this dealer at all cost unless you want to purchase a lemon, have the law broken with fraudulent documents, or have a bait and switch performed. As a fleet owner, I’ve never seen a dealership operate this way and treat someone else’s staff so poorly. My staff was appalled at the treatment as well as the check engine light coming on right after they drove away. BBB and legal counsel will be in touch. Thoroughly disappointed with this dealership. There are many other choices in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan that are well worth the trip in order to send your business to a dealer that tells the truth about a product, treats others with respect (especially, the staff of a business retrieving the product), and legally divulges existing problems. This is a HARD PASS dealership and will be closed sometime in 2024. You’ve been warned.

Be cautious and read the reviews! This place gave us a weird vibe when we arrived to test drive a 2015 Chevy Tahoe a few months ago. First of all, we were a bit perplexed that we were required to fill out extensive paperwork just to take the vehicle on a test drive (this took more than 45 minutes). We thought it was really bizarre when most other dealerships just required a quick copy of my license and we were on our way. Pretty sure the reason was to get our information because we immediately started receiving solicitation emails from them for the following few weeks (until I unsubscribed) - pretty obnoxious. Finally, we were able to test drive the Tahoe! The vehicle was sitting in the parking lot with all four doors and the hatchback wide open (I assume to assuage the horrible smoke smell, or maybe it was because the air conditioning did not work). Whatever the reason, the oddness continued when our salesman got in the driver's seat and didn't even let me drive! Bizarre! Every other dealership we've been to allows us to drive the car ourselves so we can privately discuss and test the features. I remember him showing me how cool the touch-screen was, while not even being able to enlighten me with any relevant information about engine size, towing capacity, or tongue weight limits. By this time, we were sweating profusely on this hot July afternoon and getting very irritated. When we arrived back at the dealership, we asked for our keys (since we were considering a trade-in). Our salesman said he would get them right away, and he disappeared. I kid you not, we waited an additional 30 minutes with no keys, before I went over to another desk to inquire. They were on a hook behind the desk the entire time. Not sure where our salesman was. The entire experience took close to two hours (when we were expecting a quick test drive). On the positive side, I will state that my business partner purchased a Ford pick-up from these guys a few weeks after my encounter, and he said the experience was quite good. Must have been a night and day difference between that and the time we were there. As I've stated before, it was all quite bizarre. There are plenty of other dealerships in the area that have far better reviews and positive customer satisfaction. Be wary.

I had a great experience working with Jeremy at Exceptional Motorcar. He was able to answer all the questions I had about the truck, he put the vehicle on hold to give me time to travel in from out of state, and he and his manager stayed open a couple hours late when my flight was delayed. These guys made the entire process extremely easy, the communication was excellent, and the truck is exactly what I had been looking for.

I was not impressed by the customer service. Brayden was my salesman, and he’s most of the reason I didn’t buy my truck at their store. He was impolite and had terrible communication.

I would highly recommend going to Expectional Motocar for your next vehicle purchase. My salesman Doug was easy going and made the process smooth. I never felt pressured at all. I will definitely be going back to purchase my next vehicle. I would highly suggest seeing Doug as he was awesome.
