Fairfield Crossings Goodwill Store reviews
15They used to be a good place to pick up some bargains. But anymore they are increasing the prices to match ebay prices. This is a goodwill store not an ebay store.
Most of the workers were rude except for the one person at the one register that was open who took 15-20 minutes to check out my 4 items. I don’t mean to sound insensitive bc I truly commend goodwill for hiring workers with special needs but maybe give her another job to do like stocking? Or don’t have her be the only register open? I’m not exaggerating-15-20 minutes to check out 4 items. I’m a very patient person and she was friendly enough but thats completely ridiculous.
Worst Goodwill in the area. Very very rude employees. Call to complain and was hung up on three times, all cause I asked for the corporate phone number.
All I'm going to say is this.while she was very nice, if Janelle is the cashier when you go plan an extra 15 minutes to check out.moved waaaay too slow to be up front and the only cashier.
Had lots of clothing.some furniture.lil bit of dishes.a few electronics.just not very big variety this time.
Clean and well organized. Some days can be hit or miss when looking around, but they keep their store pretty full of items. Pricing can sometimes be a little much for a thrift store (high eBay pricing), but the sales are great and balance it out.
They are more expensive than the thrift store down the street, but sometimes they have better quality clothes and such. They also have more dressing rooms to accommodate the customers.
They let one person buy all the good furniture. It is the same every time they have half off. It seems like they only bring out the good stuff when they have half price day.
I absolutely love going to thrift stores and this goodwill location is an exceptionally good one to visit, their prices aren't expensive and there's usually always a great selection of things to choose from, from any kind if clothing to furniture, pictures and picture frames, knickknacks, lamps, great selection of purses and dvds. Some of the goodwill stores are way over priced and on items that's not in very good shape like the one in Newport Bellevue, KY.
I recently noticed someone in the parking lot is trying to steal gas because my gas door was open but it's anti theft. Please make sure nobody is messing with your vehicle and have security cameras out or something. The nerve of the people around there.
Not much to choose from at this Good Will. Have found others that have a lot more to c choose from.
Sometimes you can get killer deals at goodwill, but you really have to go during sales. They almost seem to charge close to retail on some items, which is pretty ridiculous.
1 register for credit cards, 1 for cash.who carries cash? 45 min before closing they are announcing to check out, yea awesome! 1 line 12+ carts deep
This place was very crowded when I went on Saturday morning and a lot of the other shoppers were going through stuff like they had never been shopping before in thei lives. But the cashiers were very friendly and very quick.
When you need a winter coat.they at least have real thrift shop pricing. Other "thrift" stores are asking as much as retail. I just got a London Fog wool coat in brand new condition for less than $7! This is what these goodwill stores were meant for.to help those in need and not for huge profit margins off of donations.
