Fairfield Cyclery reviews
12 Love my new Recumbent!
I have bruises and a broken arm from riding on the bike trail over the years. There is simply no way you can always avoid the walnuts, slick spots, squirrels, and deer! That is all over now with my new Catrike Road trike. And it climbs hills just fine and fits right into my SUV with no modification. And frankly, it is a total hoot to ride. (If you dont clip in now you WILL with a recumbent. Buy the shoes!). The guys at FC are all great too. I think everyone will eventually get a trike. The basic building block of the universe is the triangle! (My SUV is a Chevy Traverse)
Owner Joe Allan went above and beyond to help us! We were stuck on the side of the street when he stopped and offered to help. He gave us a ride to his shop where he looked over my tangled and broken derailleur.
My husband and I had traveled from Kansas City to ride the Donut Trail, and this was to be our last of three days of riding. Joe got us moving on our Donut Quest with a loaner bike (a sweet BMC) while he called around for parts. We pedaled to another donut shop, then back to our hotel via the scenic Great Miami Riverfront Trail.
We loaded the loaner onto our bike rack and drove back to Fairfield Cyclery fully expecting a big bill for a mechanical checkup and a days rental for the loaner. Joe couldn’t have been nicer, nor more fair. His shop appears to be well stocked, clean, and organized. I am a Grateful customer!
Best bike shop around! Dave and Joe are experienced riders and offer expert, honest advice regarding buying a new bike and service needs. I recommend Fairfield Cyclery to my friends and family.
My mom and I were looking to get her a trike. We were in there twice looking at them. They were always professional and helpful and she bought her trike!
Took them 2 weeks to do a tune up on my bike after 9 days of having the bike there i had to call them and see what was going on they told me it wasnt ready yet and they actually havent done any work yet 6 days after they finally call me for a pick up.
Bought a used bike at Goodwill that had a slipping rear freehub. Dropped it off at their shop and they got it fixed for a good price. It was an old bike so it took a while to find the part but they kept me informed and updated.
Took it out last night and it worked like a charm. Very pleased with the whole experience.
Turned 53 and my wife 50. Decided to ride my recumbent on the OTET trail from Cincinnati
to Cleveland. These guys took care of getting our bikes up and ready. After a test drive a few days later my wife's shifter was acting up and they got her in and it fixed rapidly. Joe and crew.team awesome.
We have bought several trikes from this shop and have always had a good experience. They are very friendly and accomodating, their selection of recumbent trikes is outstanding, and their prices are competitive.
I walked in looking for a specific bike model that I knew wasn't going to win the tour de France but was in my budget. As soon as I asked if they had it in stock, I was treated as if I knew nothing about bikes because of the brand. I definitely will be taking my business elsewhere.
Simply astonishing service. If you have ANY questions, need help, whatever these guys consistently beat expectations.
The best for service and trying out recumbent trikes. We've bought three trikes from them and couldn't be happier.
If you're in the market for a recumbent bike or trike or a townie, this is the place. They also have some hybrid offerings and a few mountain and kids' bikes, but you won't find any road bikes. I've always been treated well whenever I have had to run in for parts. Highly recommended.
