I don't have enough words to express how phenomenal Rick was! He has such a good eye for what good lighting, good poses, etc. I am so awkward behind film and he made me feel so beautiful! I can't wait to look back at all the pictures every year. Not one bad photo was taken! 1000/10 would recommend Samos Photography for any wedding!

Rick is simply amazing! I would 100% recommend him to anyone for any event. He did our engagement photos and made our vision come to life. We asked him to do them in a wine bar and without hesitation, he said yes. They turned out stunning and had an edgy vibe to them. He also captured our wedding day photos and they were nothing short of beautiful. He captured every single moment so perfectly and provided us with thousands of photos. He is super fun to work with and listens intently to ensure he delivers what you ask for.

Such an unpleasant experience working with this photographer! Wedding is one of most important and beautiful events of the life, but we couldn’t enjoy the happiness since the photographer keep putting us into trouble, talking mean, not putting client needs on the top priority, my sister hired him for her big day but what I heard after wedding is she crying about photographer keep sending photo to other people without her permission! Taking photos only base on what he want not the new couple wants! The entire communication is terrible

We’ve had the utmost unpleasant experience working with this photographer on my best friend’s wedding day. Not only he confronted and argued with the bride publicly before all wedding guests, he also tried to leave in midst of the wedding before he finishes all the shots. We tried figuring out the issue with him by talking but the process itself was utterly awkward and exhausting. It is impossible to communicate with him as he was impatient to any requests we had and denied everything his client asked. Also beware if you have other photographers or videographers other than his team because he would not collaborate with them and makes it difficult for others to do their job. Our videographer was accommodating enough to manage throughout the day but even with our compromises, not all major moment photos have met our expectations. The bottom line is he didn’t demonstrate any sense of professionalism throughout the wedding and we didn’t experience the “cooperation” part that he puts us to envision working with him. Therefore I highly don’t recommend this photographer if you’d like to have someone more respectful and ethical to work collectively on your wedding day.

This photographer shares copies of photos without permission, and not properly prioritize clients request. We would not recommend this photographer to anyone and we are very regret to hired this person.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this photography business. The photographer's lack of professionalism was evident throughout the entire process. From the initial communication to the actual event, his irresponsibility and unprofessionalism were glaringly apparent. If you're seeking a smooth and stress-free wedding or event, I strongly advise against hiring this photographer. Their inability to deliver a satisfactory service left me frustrated and regretful of my decision. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a photographer who truly values their clients and delivers on their promises.

Rick is simply the best! We booked him for our wedding. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and easygoing. My husband and I aren’t good at posing but Rick helped us with that. Our wedding photos came out amazing! He caught every moment, I’m convinced he has an identical twin because I don’t know how he got so many good shots by himself! I could go on and on. Just book him already before someone else does

We met Rick a few years ago prior to getting engaged and then married. From the start, he made us comfortable. Which was big for my now husband, as he was super nervous for his first shoot ever. And of course, the photos turned out great!

Since that first shoot, Rick has always been informative, with great communication (esp when I had questions) and open to new ideas. I felt heard with my ideas as well as being open to Rick’s suggestions as we worked together.

Next was our engagement shoot - gorgeous photos. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. I was so excited to use them for our save the dates!

After that, I did a bridal boudoir shoot. I have done these before, but for those who haven’t - Rick was so professional and lets you take the reins on comfortability. At this point in time, I was also not physically where I wanted to be and I felt GORGEOUS during the shoot and was blown away by the pictures. They are now something timeless that I can look back on as my body changes and ages. It’s an eternal value!

On our wedding day, it was rainy. Which as a bride-to-be really bummed me out. But with Rick’s experience, he gave us the best indoor location and it honestly could not have worked out any better for everyone. He also suggested to me early on to get our bridal party clear umbrellas in case it would rain - and they were so cute to see everyone walk around with!

I could go on, but all-in-all, Rick does amazing work and is a great person. I constantly get compliments on our photos and people asking who did them.

Rave review! Samos Photography videographed my best friends wedding on Dec 2nd. Just saw the video today and it is truly fantastic. Loving, fun, comedic. Truly checked every box you would be looking for. The videographer (Liz I believe) was so nice and really just blended in with the scene. Not sure if she also does the video editing, but whoever it is, Kudos. Truly greatful for the work done. Thank you.

We cannot recommend Samos Photography highly enough. Our wedding was originally scheduled for May of 2020 - right at the start of the pandemic. Our large wedding was immediately cut to 10 people including my wife and I. Through all of the chaos, Rick was a constant steady force. He drove up to Cleveland where our wedding was originally planned, took AMAZING photos, and he had them to us within days. Then, through 2 other pandemic-related reschedules, Rick and Liz came back up to Cleveland to both photograph and film our reception. To say they went above and beyond would be the understatement of the week.

This is all without mention of how comfortable they both made us feel throughout the photoshoot, how prepared they both were for rain during our engagement photo session and damp conditions during our wedding photo session. They were creative and spontaneous and adapted to an entirely new/unknown site for our reception photos. AGAIN - the photos and video turned out great and were linked to our inboxes within days.

Our photos are proudly displayed all over our house and the shorter video has become a staple must-watch of all our (unexpectedly numerous) wedding anniversaries.

We found Samos Photography online and immediately fell in love with their photography style. We had Rick and Liz do our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and video and could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out! Rick is insanely fast at returning the edited photos to you and also provides you with the raw footage as well (not all photographers do this!) All-in-all everything from the quality of the photos/video themselves, the level of service Rick and Liz provide, and the price of it all cannot be beat. I would happily recommend Samos Photography in an instant.
