The pastor bought our house but had difficulty with financing. Until he sold his former house, he had to rent ours out. He didn’t pay his rent on time and had anything but a pious attitude toward dealing with us when he was in the process of buying our house. Rather self-centered and demanding. With him not paying rent on time, it also put pressure on us to cover two mortgages. Just proof that being a member of a church doesn’t make you a good person.
