We have owned the used Roadtrek camper van we bought from Findlay Truck & RV almost a year ago, it has been a wonderful RV. They pointed out what was good, and bad, about the RV. Honesty in car dealers is almost unheard of these days!

This is our first Diesel Pusher so we were somewhat at their mercy. Several things were wrong with the RV and Thomas May gave us his word that he would make sure everything was going to be taken care of. We came down several weeks later to take delivery. We accepted the coach and 5 miles down the road, a new problem cropped up with the engine. He took care of it. Then the refrigerator decided to break. He took care of it. It is so refreshing to shake someone’s hand and it is better than a contract. If I could have given him 6 stars, I would have done it!

My husband and I bought our Toyhauler a few months ago from Findley Truck & RV. We couldn't have been happier with the service and attention we received throughout the entire process. We worked with Jim May, the owner, and he was just wonderful and a pleasure to work with. Thank you to the Findley team!

I cannot express enough my appreciation for this dealership. I have been looking for a certain MH and had three I was looking at. I was leaning toward two closer to me as this MH was in Ohio and I live in WA State. The decision was made and I flew over 1,500 miles to pick it up and drive it back to WA. I was prepared to turn around if not what advertised, but folks it was even better than my expectations. I could not have been happier and enjoyed it immensely for 23 hours. That is until a tire came off a trailer from the opposite direction and hit me square on in the grill (they were traveling 65mph and i was traveling 60. My insurance declared it a complete loss and offered it back to me. I had no idea what to do, I had one week to pick it up, I know no one there and what will I do with a broken down MH in Michigan! Well, I called Jim to see if he had a number of a tow truck and what happened next was more than I would have ever expected. Jim told me that I could tow it back to them (only a few hundred miles) and have his service team take a look. He said that if they can't fix it safely they would help me take it to auction. Wow!
I would highly recommend Findlay Truck and RV a thousand times over. They take customer service to the extreme!

My wife and I have been looking for an RV upgrade for several years we had a 99 Winnebago kept in condition. Jim offered me a good deal on the trade. We found a Motor home we had been looking for in his inventory. Throughout the entire purchase Mr. May was available to answer any and all questions I had about the unit. We live in Texas and I couldn't get up there to look at it all we had was his word the unit was in good shape. As a RV owner I know purchasing used is always a challenge because your are buying something someone else used and misused. "It isn't new. There is always a little TLC to do. His staff was very helpful he was always available and forth right with me. They offered delivery and as I was unable to personally go look at it and drive it home myself, he had his driver bring it to us. Super friendly man and kept me informed as to when he would arrive. I will say this, as a mechanic during the inspection I think the engine should have been cleaned to determine if any leaks could be detected while running, and other minor issues. I have found no leaks or issues other than poor maintenance from previous owner which is all being done. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase it is a beautiful RV and it will last us for a good while. Thank you Mr. May for your help and staff as well.

I purchased a 2020 Outback from this dealer. Patrick was my salesman. I couldn't ask to be treated better. It was a very low pressure sale, unlike most RV dealers. The 3 things I asked for were no issue for them. I couldn't be happier.

I contacted this dealership about one of the toy hauler campers they had in stock 2020 cyclone 4007 and asked if there was any damages inside or out they ensured me there was no damage to the camper and it was it great shape. Drove 5 hours to go look at it in person and to sum it up there was multiple things wrong with this camper that a blind person could see. The awning arm was ripped in half and zip tied to the camper just to hold it on, the ladder to access the roof was bent and not usable, the plastic fender flare was missing, the tires were from 2018,2 of the outside doors were bent and tapped shut, the camper frame around the slide out has structural cracks, the couches were torn to pieces, the bathroom door hinge was ripped out of the wall, the outside also looks like someone ran a tree down the side of it. And 20 other issues. All and all the camper was trashed. The fact of the matter was they completely lied to me instead of being honest about it. I wasted 10hrs driving, 200$ in fuel and missed out on a day of work. Completely unhappy with this dealership and the person that is representing them. I would never purchase anything from here. If they are willing to lie about something a blind person could see what else are they gonna try to hide from you.

I like to stop & browse their inventory & appreciate the fact that they let you go through then without a salesman breathing down your neck. They have some very nice RV's & vehicles to check out.

Was in the market for an RV was looking into the dealership they currently have 2 active lawsuits against them for not delivering what was promised you can look it up with the Hancock county courts

Response; I'll have to decline your invitation due to the fact I refuse association with a convicted felon. Convenient that you didn't mention the lawsuit with the truck where you knowingly sold it with no emissions. As for the RV if you truly did do a 140 point safety inspection on it you'd have caught the rotted out frame not surface rust that you're trying to play it off as. But as previous mentioned criminals typically aren't truthful.

Sincerely,
Robert Saget

I would avoid this dealership at all costs if you are looking for a vehicle. I would particularly avoid any sports cars. Were told that the vehicle was garage kept, low mileage. Nothing about a cover up repair was done to the engine to cover up a destroyed cylinder, by installing a "sleeve" to cover up the lifter noise to sell the vehicle. They said they only had the car a few months to "play" with but never admitted they beat it and destroyed the engine. Very sneaky dealership.

Very disappointed in the owner, Jim May. We purchased a Class A Motorhome in April of 2023. RV was to have Spare tire and rim as mentioned in email-text from Jim. NO spare tire or rim. After MH was home, Findlay finally sent me a rim but NO TIRE. I was confused. Thanks for the rim Jim. (I do consider it part of our final purchase per our emails.) As for the tire, Jim said just go purchase one and I will reimburse. (in email). Really? (No RED flags here Jim). After buying a tire, I personally sent Jim a copy of the invoice to reimburse for new tire and no check to date.
Jim responded after receiving invoice.thanks.check will go out today. 5-6 weeks ago.
Really Jim? $215! Not my reputation Jim it's yours. I pay my bills or make arrangements if I can't. 140 pt.inspection? What a joke. We are veteran RV'ers so we knew we would have to fix a few things but this one is ridiculous. We are "fixing" all the many items and moving forward. Hey Jim it's not the $215 it's the promise made- got that figured out yet? Don't you get it. I sent a text reminder a couple weeks ago and no response. Not surprised I guess. Just really disappointed.

Here's my advise to any buyer thinking of buying an RV from Findlay.hire a certified inspector prior to buying. It will cost you much less than finding out up front what needs replacing-fixing. I have too many items to list of what we have replaced. But I accept that as part of my responsibility of purchasing an RV and never contacted you or the dealer once. We are moving forward. We are a retired couple so we are going to go camping and enjoy our Motorhome. It's the petty promise from a dealer that puts you in the one star rating with us. Semper Fi

Ehhhh. Went to check out some of the used, but newer RVs (drive-able and less than 8 years old) they had while staying in the area. We are looking for something else. We seen a lot of dealerships as we travel fulltime in our RV across the country. Can honestly say - we were not too impressed. A lot of them looked like just whatever scraps they could pick up at auction. Many in rough shape. We didn’t see anything worth a second look. Also, we went inside - couldn’t find anyone at all in the building. Went looking around the lot at the ones we wanted to see for about a hour. Didn’t see a salesperson that asked us if we needed any help till we were leaving. Had a lot to look at but nothing in any shape that we’d want to consider.

I just received the worse service ever here! I’ve never dealt with such an arrogant sales person when purchasing a car or camper in my life! From the second I walked in this Patrick guy was nothing but a jerk! It seemed like such a hassle for him to even show me any travel trailers. I called him later in the evening to discuss a payment on one I liked. He acted frustrated and advised me I should “know how to figure a payment”. Then he just hung up on me as I began explaining every other place I’ve purchased from has always had no problem figuring a payment with X amount of cash down. I was referred here by a well known member of the community that knows of the owner and his son! It’s sad to see how such poor customer service has become the allowable expectation in todays world. Off to Toledo to purchase a travel trailer. It’s to bad I was unable to shop locally in our community. Thanks for listening!

I am a nationally certified RV inspector and was recently hired by a customer to inspect an RV she was purchasing long-distance. When I arrived, Thomas May had the RV parked inside, hooked up to electric and water and ready for the inspection. They were very accommodating and checked with me numerous times throughout the day. The RV was in good condition and I was assured that any needed repairs would be handled. Many dealers look upon inspectors as interlopers but this was not the case as I felt welcomed. Good job everyone!

I purchased a 2002 Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt Edition at Findlay dealership. I was looking for this model car and found it online at Findlay's. I contacted Thomas May. I live in Connecticut and Thomas sent me many photos and videos of the car. He and his staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I purchased the car sight unseen and had the car transported to me in Connecticut. The car arrived safely and in perfect condition. Thank you Thomas and the staff at Findlay's for making my purchase a great experience. I would not hesitate to buy another car from Findlay's. I highly recommend this dealership. Thanks again Thomas and staff.

Great place, good service. We bought a 5 yr old camper. Made the deal when we went to pick it up they had put new tires on all around, also a TV in bedroom. Family owed and operated.

Thomas was an EXCELLENT salesman. He showed us every trailer we wanted to see and showed us other options with NO pressure to purchase. Financing was a simple process. The motorhome was ready when promised and the service technician who showed us how everything worked was GREAT. He answered all our questions and demonstrated all the features on our motorhome to us. Everyone there was very helpful and pleasant to work with. They even called us a few day after the sale to make everything was OK and ask if we needed anything else from them. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I drove 600 miles from PA to trade in my Class C RV, on a Class A RV they had in stock.i dealt with Thomas May.they offered me a great trade price on my Class C, and had the best sale price on the Class A i was looking for. Thomas May returned my text message on a sunday notifying me that he would get answers to all of my questions first thing monday morning, which he did.we put the deal together over the phone, i paid a deposit, and he drafted up an agreement of sale and i planned to pick it up in a few days once it went through their shop.once it went through their shop, Thomas scheduled a time/date with me for an appointment so their shop tech could have the RV set up so i could walk through and try everything out and answer any questions.i ended up doing the walkthrough too quickly and signing the papers so i could begin driving home another 600 miles back to PA.after i got home, over then next 2 weeks i really went through everything thoroughly, and i found a few small issues that i hadnt noticed during my too fast walk through at their shop. I reached out to Thomas, knowing it was my own fault that i had rushed through, but notified him about what i had found. Thomas asked me to provide pictures and receipts which i gladly did, and he made it right.he said that "he tries his best to keep his customers happy, and that he appreciated my business". I feel that was a genuine statement because i am very happy with my purchase, and i feel he appreciated my business, and i also appreciate his great pricing, and openess and honesty. Thank you Thomas May and Findlay RV for helping my family and i get into the RV we had been trying to get for a long time!:) also, for what its worth, before i purchased, i saw there were a few negative reviews.i think its also about how you treat people.i was treated well before and after the sale, but i always treat people with respect and remain calm. 100% happy customer here!
